Fun restaurant, beautiful outdoor seating and authentic local food. Prices are reasonable, service is very good. A fun night!!

Delicious Swiss food (with a friendly kids menu), where its outdoor dining space overlooks the river Reuss. Air-dried meats were very tasty. The sausage was a bit salty.

The Rösti is soooooo oily, I just cannot bear this. Also the meat make me a little bit disappointed. Too heavy for these two dishes. The staff is okay but just average . Ver carta

Buscábamos un sitio típico, estilo taberna, para cenar comida local, y paseando encontramos este restaurante acogedor en el que a un precio razonable tomamos cuatro platos típicos muy ricos, todos de nombre impronunciable. El servicio muy atento. Nos gustó mucho.

In einer Seitengasse an der Reuss gelegen. Charmantes Interieur. Sehr gut geschultes und nettes, junges Personal. Es ist ja schon erstaunlich, was wir als Luzerner und Luzernerin in Luzern erleben! Ein Mittagessen in einem Restaurant am Mühleplatz mit einem Personal OHNE Lächeln und sonst Ohne. Auf der anderen Reussseite, eben im Rest. Taube, das pure Gegenteil: ein herzliches Lachen mit allem Drum und Dran. Wir haben einen feinen Kaffee mit einem hervorragenden Grappa aus dem Fass genossen. Bravo

There is no denying it, but Lucerne and Switzerland in general is an expensive place to eat. So because of that (and as so many restaurants have very similar menus) you want to make sure you can find quality for the price. Restaurant Taube offered good quality for the price and a great location with riverside seating under trees and with views of the Chapel Bridge and the Spreuer Bridge. The rosti and sausage was fantastic as was the Schnitzel that my sons had.

We chose this restaurant on a busy Friday night with no expectations of being able to get a table. When we arrive there however we were delighted to see that there was an outdoor table available which although it had rained earlier, was promptly squeegeed...off and made available to us. The restaurant staff and especially our waitress were very kind and attentive. Our orders were taken almost immediately and as we were splitting our meal there was no hassle. Our wine and salads were brought out very quickly and the time to bring out the main course was perfectly timed. We enjoyed the veal Cordon Bleu and a mixed salad which was accompanied by some great red wine. I can’t say enough good thin... Ver carta
