"Attended this restaurant for the second time, first being an evening meal which was brilliant The restaurant is an intimate setting with plenty of Thai references. Very nice authentic Thai china was in use. Starters of veg spring rolls, king prawn tempura and chicken satay and 3 dips to complement each. All very good with the right amount of heat. We all said that we could eat the starters again….and again. Mains consisted of Jasmin rice ,chicken in cashews, sweet and sour king prawns and a vegan green curry. All dishes were superb again with the right amount of heat. Everything was colourful and fresh and ate very well. All washed down with cold Thai beer. Waiting staff were great, very attentive without being intrusive and they explained each dish that was served. The staff were really on the ball and nothing had to be asked for twice. They just floated about doing a great service. This establishment obviously has a great kitchen and staff who know how to produce good quality food time and again. Andy was welcoming and an attentive host with a good sense of humour. Highly recommended."

Just amazing food and the owner took the time to talk with all the people who came into his restaurant. Every time we have come to Harwich we book a table we live in Leicester. Ver carta

We booked this restaurant for my daughter “Chloe’s” birthday treat… The restaurant was stunning with a calming ambience, just like the Thai restaurants we visited on our holiday to Thailand a couple of years back. The staff were very friendly welcoming, the food was amazing… we had starters… salt pepper squid, tempura prawns this was my choice my goodness it was tantalisingly good!! Prawn toast chicken satay… most of the mains were red curry’s a doggy bag of left overs for my daughter to take home (which she forgot to pick up as we left) she was gutted when we got home!! Thank you for an amazing celebratory meal we will definitely be returning!!

Visited this restaurant for the first time whilst stopping off at Harwich during a road trip. I am a lover of Thai food but have never been lucky enough to visit Thailand. Knowing that the chef, Pom, was from there and likes to cook her food in an authentic home style manner, we were really looking forward to it. We were not disappointed! I had the Tom Yum soup with prawns, which was fragrant and very (3 chilli) hot, whilst my wife had the unctuous Chicken Satay. She followed that with the very flavoursome Red Curry, whilst I had the Beef Salad, a perfect combination of fresh herbs salad with tender beef in a spicy dressing. Andy is the perfect host and the staff were efficient and charming.... Ver carta

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Harwich before catching the late ferry and are fond of SE Asian food so Thai up at the Quay sounded just up our street. We hadn't booked and turned up quite early thinking it would be OK but the restaurant was already busy. Luckily the man in charge found us a table and we enjoyed an excellent home cooked Thai meal one of the best we have had in the UK. Portions were just the right size to be shared between two and reasonably priced. We had a satay starter and a curry and a stir fry with rice all of which were excellent. Nice atmosphere and friendly service too. We shall certainly be back next time we are in Harwich. We were lucky and got in without a...

I don’t think this place needs my support with another review but I will leave one anyway as a thank you. I come from here and so on a local revisit recently I was surprised to hear of a Thai which I’d never known about before. Meant to be notoriously hard to get in but the owner was exceptionally accommodating to fit us in around childcare complications we had which was most appreciated. The decor and environment is very warm and cosy and the staff attentive. It’s wonderful hearing the owner’s banter with the locals which adds to the feeling of a generous and popular enterprise. The food exquisite. All tastes very fresh sweet chilli sauce unlike any I’ve had before and meat quality was deli...

"We came as a group of 10 for my Mother in Laws 60th birthday, and I must say it was a shambles. Please let me say, that we have been many times prior to this and have had excellent food and fantastic service, so not sure what has happened. Firstly, my Father in Law had to pay a deposit for 12 of us, which was absolutely fine, however, one of those was for a baby who would not have been eating. Unfortunately the mother and baby were unable to attend due to illness, so we lost £10 of the deposit. I would like to Firstly ask, why was we charged for a baby, who was never going to be eating? Secondly, we asked for a pitcher of beer, and when this was served, we were given 3 (out of 4) of the most dirtiest glasses. The beer from previous drinkers was still in the bottom, hence the staining of brown at the bottom of the glass. This is totally unacceptable, and this could actually cause serious health issues to people drinking from them. The waitress brought the first two starters out, prawn cocktails, and dumped it infront of a parson who didn 't even order it, and even after we told her who they were for, just left it there.....would you not have picked this up and actually served it to the correct person? The prawn cocktails came out on a slate and as much as this was very nicely presented, knowing that someone with only the use of one arm had ordered this, it would have been a better option to put this on a plate, so food could be scraped to the edge of the plate and picked up. Rather than a husband having to put his fork up against his wife 's and juggle getting the food on. That 's just a food for thought, incase you have anyone else in this position in the future. We then had the mains served. Out of the 10 orders, were four full racks of ribs. One of these came out as a half. We asked the waitress if this was correct and she said, sorry, she would get the other half out. This came out AFTER the person had finsihed their dinner, which meant they had to take this away in a take away box. Seemed like there was no urgency to correct the error immediately. The burgers, I am sorry to say, are an actual joke. The burgers themselves looked like the small ones you get from Iceland. But yet, are being charged at nearly £14. That was shocking. The chips, were edible, but burnt. And again, please think about putting it on a plate (or atleast asking the person eating it what they would prefer) and not a wooden chopping board. A chopping board is for chopping after all...... We then asked for our cake to come out, so we could sing happy birthday and blow the candles out. We got told yes no problem, but you will be charged £2 per person for eating there at no point had we mentioned we wanted to eat it there and had actually already mentioned this prior to handing over the cake. We opted not to have a dessert as we felt quite deflated to be honest. When the bill came out, I asked if the 3 for 2 drinks had been deducted and she said no, thats only Friday 's . I think you need to make that clearer on your menu, as it just states Monday... Tuesday...etc and the Friday 's. But your drinks deal just says Evenings you need to amend that to specifically say Friday evenings as it is in fact false advertisement on your part. The bill came up, minus the £50 deposit (still baffled why you charged £5 for a baby) and to my surprise a £27 service charge. I asked for this to be removed, as I find this quite shocking to put on any bill. A service charge is not a given, it is a discretion by those who are paying. You cannot expect anyone to pay a service charge if they feel the service has not been up to scratch. As I previously said above, we have been here multiple times before and always had great service and exceptional food. Last night, just was not the same. It is a shame, as we come here for birthdays and we will be thinking twice now, due to the above."
