Drinks only, a couple of great g&t! The place was friendly enough but lacking in atmosphere for a Friday night.

Stopped by for some dinner before the theatre, not been in a long time and was pleased we went. Food was excellent, cocktails on point. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Atmosphere was cosy and warm.

We chose this place as it was so close to Kings Theatre were we were going to see a show. We made an early booking and chose the pre-theatre menu. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice too with the piano being played in the background. It was good value for money. Recommend to book in advance.

I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews. A friend and I went to this restaurant yesterday for lunch. I used to eat out a lot in Glasgow but now have reduced mobility, so this restaurant was perfect being located right outside the station. I had mussels and then the best macaroni (with salt beef topping) I have ever had, and I am very picky when it comes to mac and cheese. My friend had smoked salmon followed by rotisserie chicken, all washed down with a very nice Pinot Grigio. The two waitstaff were very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back. The toilets were also extremely clean.

Dear god!!!! Horrendous experience.. waited 2 hrs for 1 course!! Steak turned up cold, returned with a new one after the other 3 guests had finished their burgers. The vegan chickpea burger was sloppy, fell apart twice over brand new dry clean only trousers, that now needs to be cleaned. Cocktail was more fruit juice the spirit and certainly not worth £9. Toilets not the best, no toilet roll. Loud atmosphere, so much so we had to shout. Service was intermittent at best. Very small choice of menu, not like the online menu suggested. Extremely disappointed as it was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Will NOT go again!!

I have been dining at BG for over 30 years and it holds a special place in my heart. The staff have always been fantastic, but my experience last night was a mixed bag. One waitress with red hair was absolutely lovely, she was very attentive and checked on us regularly with a friendly manner. However, the waitress with green hair was the rudest and most unhelpful person I have ever encountered in any establishment. She had a dreadful attitude, looked visibly upset, and was banging things around. I normally wouldn't write a negative review, but she really needs to be let go. I spoke to a friend who had a similar experience with her, so it seems to be a recurring issue.

I visited this restaurant after seeing a show at Oliver at the Kings and had a fantastic experience. The waiting staff were very busy but still provided excellent service. My friend and I shared multiple dishes and everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the halloumi fries with their amazing sauces. My friend tried three different types of hummus, which may or may not have all been finished by me. They also ordered the chicken schnitzel with lime potato salad and really enjoyed both dishes. I opted for the fancy Mac and cheese with jalapenos, which was the perfect vegetarian option for a night out. Overall, we were both very happy with our meal and highly recommend this restaurant....
