Wonder food , staff were lovely , three of us all had such a nice time in great atmosphere , all members of staff so friendly, our waitress was excellent

Everything about our lunch was really impressive, from the service to the food. We all had a different main course which was hot, tasty and appealing. Will definitely go there again.

We visited the beagle as it was next to the premier inn. Was expecting similar fare to a normal premier inn. But omg this pub/restaurant is lovely. A lovely unspoilt inn . Food is amazing. Staff are lovely. Can’t fault the place

The service was excellent if a little speedy! Did feel a bit rushed but it was a Saturday night just before Valentine’s Day so I expect they were experiencing a busy turnover. Food was excellent, very tasty, plentiful and well presented. Characterful atmosphere and we’ll be back.

I was very pleasantly surprised as our last visit to the Beagle was not very good at all (I hasten to add that this was many years ago though). This time the food was good and the pub was warm and inviting. The service was very good, our waitress was friendly and polite. We will definitely be back.

Lovely traditional old pub with lots of character and we liked the open fires . Staff friendly and helpful; we all enjoyed our meals which were very well presented. My vegan Jackfruit wrap didn't have a huge amount of flavour but salads and sweet potato fries were good. I would certainly be happy to go again

Waitress was excellent, attentive but not overly. Was worried about coming back to The Beagle as historically we have had bad experiences but this time was very good, mainly over the length of time we had to wait for food. Food arrived in good time and was tasty. Service was good. Felt COVID safe too, good distance between diners even though it was busy

eating was absolutely beautiful, but a waiter seems to be fun chatting with his colleagues and giggling much instead of noticing that we had completed our first curs, I would like to refresh the menu. again we had to wait for his attention to the billing a total of 25 minutes waiting between the curses to hear him that I call him. at the end I caught a beautiful young lady waitress and she appeared very fast and sorted us very professional. I will go back there and hopefully the young lady and not the young man who serves my table.

Lovely pub, it was busy when we went so wasn’t as quiet as I would of liked but that was to be expected on a Friday night and also nice to see. The setting is gorgeous and beautifully cosy with open fires and exposed beams. The food was really good, I had the house burger and it was very tasty. The girl serving us was pleasant and professional. She has mastered the ability to be attentive without being pushy or making us feel that we need to leave. I would both recommend the Beagle and will also be visiting again myself. Well done to all the team for providing a lovely atmosphere with good food and good service.
