Oldy worldy pub in quaint village. Good food, friendly, lovely atmosphere! And yet friendly!!

I have been there before.. but on this occasion it was sadly closed.. lovely Village area interesting ok walk..

The atmosphere was electric and the food was out of this world. So nice to have this beautiful pub up and running again.

We had the nicest meal out we have had for a long time. The food was amazing. Super friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere in an old local pub. We will definitely go again and will definitely book for a Sunday lunch it looks amazing.

Went here for a Sunday lunch, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. it was delicious. They have their own car park. The building itself is hundreds of years old and has amazing history. The fact you have to cross the road to go to the men's toilet just adds to the experience. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Beer was great as was the desert. Highly recommended

Had Sunday roast for three of us (beef, lamb and nut roast). Great service and the everyone's roast was perfect. The lamb was tender and the veg were really well cooked (the red cabbage was especially tasty). The extra treat of couliflower cheese was a bonus and unexpected. Service was great warm and welcoming and very reasonably priced. This was our first visit under new management and ouldn't be more happier. Also being such a lovely old pub in one of the prettiest villages in the area is another added bonus. Can I give 6 stars? Ver carta
