"while we explore faringdon, make lunch break and feel delicious, we asked about a dame in the museum where we could find a good esserei, they suggested the faringdon coffee house right next door. I think of a cup coffee and a sandwich in which we broke in. what. a charming little device, tasteful and comfortable furnishings, with friendly and fast service. we started with a coffee that was excellent, in contrast to the watery and boring things that we had been served at another place food decidedwise we chose the authentic Indonesian cuisine (prepared by an authentic Indonesian cook), with us both the choice of bark rendang (bef curry) it was a really exquisite meal, filling, extremely delicious and delicious. well done! faringdon coffee house, we are back. pat and dave"

"Wow. I can't rate The King Queen more highly. Easily the friendliest place I've ever stayed at, from the initial welcome to the (likely not final) goodbye. We stayed for two nights, with our dog, and it was just a brilliant experience. The room was comfortable and super clean. The pub downstairs was welcoming, had a great selection of drinks and a great pub menu. The food was above and beyond the house burger was everything I want a burger to be. The breakfast was just great, you can tell the care and love that goes into it quality ingredients cooked well. Can't get much better than that. We felt really looked after and welcomed into the pub. I wouldn't hesitate in visiting again, especially given the convenient location overlooking the White Horse and near to a load of nearby cities and attractions."

"I visited woodman inn on Sunday 3 april 2022 for Sunday dinner. I was with another person. that was my first visit. I have used google maps to decide where to eat and navigate into the pub, which was easy. the pub has a well earned high Google rating. I parked in the pub parking was easy. the pub consists of a series of smaller dining areas with many tables with full table service. the team was very friendly and welcoming and I had no problems, we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience. we were accommodated very short-term without problems. I enjoyed a cashew and cranberry nut roast for my main course and a warm chocolate and salted caramel wing cake for dessert. eating came hot, was well presented and tasted really good. there was a good choice of food and I found something that easily called me. eating was a good value for money, I paid about £29 for two courses and drinks. overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend a visit."

"Visiting friends in the area and they took us to this restaurant for dinner they had been before but this was our first time. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. As always, if you have any special...dietary requirements I'd advise calling ahead of your visit and I'm sure they will be able to help and advise. Is this restaurant romantic? I think anywhere can be romantic if you are with the right person so I'd say yes it is."

"Decided to give this place a go after reading all the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised. Like many here, I agree the pizza was absolutely delish quite possibly the best takeaway pizza we've had! I also ordered a doner meat and chips and was shocked by how generous the portion was. Can't speak for the fish, but the chips were crisp and lovely. This will be my go to takeaway while in Faringdon. If you're on the fence, give it a go for sure."
