The Faringdon Coffee House

The most amazing coffee shop I have ever been to. It is cosy, friendly and ever so welcoming. Definitely will be coming back and the Indonesian food is so authentic and cooked by an Indonesian! Couldn't recommend this more to anyone !

I come here all the time as it is my favourite cafe! I order the mi goreng dish and it’s absolutely delicious. It’s so well presented and my favourite food. 100% recommend I also recommend the vegetable spring rolls which are amazing too!

beautiful place,Indonesian curry was beautiful, fragrant, not full of chili, naturally presented,taste great, best meal iw had in months. nice friendly ambiente, staff nice of young lad waiting to ripe chef, will return with my mother as their cake looked amazing

I dived here and searched for a place to take cover of the weather, while on my bike, out there parking lot. They make the best nasi goreng they have ever done along with a few other Indonesian dresses as well as the usual picturesque...café teas, coffees and cakes. excellent, I come back definitiw.

We popped in for a coffee cake but, intrigued by the delicious looking Indonesian savoury offerings at the counter, the specials board and the incredibly friendly lady serving... we dived in with a nasi goreng and katsu curry! SUPERB food. This cafe is a...little gem, full of local life and authenticity. Really glad we stumbled upon it.

My husband and I stumbled across this cosy little café on our honeymoon and were delighted with the quality coffee and deliciously authentic Indonesian dishes at affordable prices. The friendly husband and wife team were so pleasant and we had a great chat! We loved...it so much that we have decided to come back tomorrow! Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

When I read in the reviews they have nasi and bami goreng I needed to try this for myself. I ate this a lot growing up and I was not dissappointed. If it wasn't for the fact we were staying in a hotel without fridge...of rmicrowave to use and then still had a 3hr drive next day I would have stocked up. The service is wonderful, the coffee was great and the cake really good too. Would recommend anyone to visit!

The coffee and sweet snack I had sitting in the lovely bay window was so good that I decided to return for lunch . The Indonesian speciality , Nasi Goring and the Chicken curry were both tasty albeit the chicken rather dry but OK...with the sauce What was special was the friendly service from the Indonesian lady she originated from the capital jakarta . Also pleasing was the attention to covid safety and the table hygiene cleaning . Only small , this is a gem !

while we explore faringdon, make lunch break and feel delicious, we asked about a dame in the museum where we could find a good esserei, they suggested the faringdon coffee house right next door. I think of a cup coffee and a sandwich in which we broke in. what. a charming little device, tasteful and comfortable furnishings, with friendly and fast service. we started with a coffee that was excellent, in contrast to the watery and boring things that we had been served at another place food decidedwise we chose the authentic Indonesian cuisine (prepared by an authentic Indonesian cook), with us both the choice of bark rendang (bef curry) it was a really exquisite meal, filling, extremely delic...
