The food was decent, but our server was very grumpy and seemed disinterested.

Lovely lunch today, gamon steak great value for money. Defenitely worth a visit.

Been here last 3 times and always enjoyed it. Great food, great staff, and friendly. Nice place to go if you're wanting a family meal or birthday meal. Really nice and relaxing place. I will be back.

Came in here for a drink meeting. Only had a can of coke, £3.65!? I questioned this and was told it wasn’t a mistake. You cant charge £3.65 for a can of coke. That just isn’t okay. Unsure what the food is like but i don’t think i want to. That is beyond outrageous.

I had been recommended to visit. Very busy though well managed. High standard of food with actual delicious flavours. Staff were very helpful, there was a small issue, it was immediately resolved by the assistant manager with smiles. Loved the atmosphere as it had a great vibe and ambience, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed all. Will return.

Been a few times for lunch Tea and every meal was spot on , so I thought I would try breakfast, service great as usual but the food was horrendous, lorne and bacon poor quality , tinned mushrooms, potato scone was very undercooked, the haggis was hidden under the egg thankfully, tomato was poor and no choice of white bread for toast , on a plus side the fried egg was good , Definitely need to up your game on the breakfast

Arrived just after 10 p.m. having just driven from Cairnryan ferry port. Ordered two drinks and enquired about food but advised kitchen just closed. Asked if we could get some chips at local chipper and eat them there as the bar was virtually empty, and mistakenly thought we got an affirmative reply. Well we were wrong but then advised you can't eat them outside either on their deserted wooden benches. We'll bingo for friendliness and hospitality on our first Scotish encounter.

What a lovely restaurant. Nice choice of foods, although I'd like to see more variety regarding the desserts. You can only have so much chocolate. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. You would be sensible to book in advance for the weekend. They do online booking which worked well for us. You have to try the Steak Balmoral omg just the best steak EVER! The staff who deal with breakfasts are lovely and work really hard. They were so welcoming. They showed so much interest in our plans for the day and came up with some interesting suggestions. So appreciated.

Ate here with the family. It was a Saturday afternoon so was busy. We booked in advance. Ordering for 4 adults any 2 children, only children had sweets. Bill came to £173. I didn't think this was too bad. The starters were I thought good. Though my wife had the calamari and said it was limp. The chicken wings were nice and crispy. No grumbles about haggis bites. However, the mains was a disappointment. I had the haddock and chips. The moment it arrived I knew it was pre frozen. The chips were nothing to write home about. There were grumbles about the medium rare steaks. Unfortunately there is no children play areas. Will likely not go again.
