"Popped in here for food one evening, everywhere was very busy but we were lucky to find a table in the bar. No booking, first come, first serve. Had the fish basket myself which was lovely, very filling with just the fish and salad. Unless you eat a lot, don't order chips if you don't like wasting food. Only thing we'd complain about was that the waffle we had for dessert was solid in the middle and we unfortunately couldn't finish it. Otherwise, lovely country pub with smiley staff. Would go again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Seafood Basket, Chips"

"Pub has lovely views from the terrace unfortunately the inside is rather tired. Paintwork needs attention and the rugs in floor were dirty. We booked for 7:30 and only half the menu was available. Whilst appreciating there are staff shortages in the area generally currently this was a bit disappointing on what seemed a concise menu anyway. Mixed grill ordered had clearly been standing a while and was not good. Fish and chips was fine. Surprised that orders were taken at bar considering covid restrictions. All in all not up to par with other pubs locally"

"I regularly visit St Davids with my family and have been coming for many years. This cafe is situated within the tourist information centre and there is also a gift shop and an interesting gallery on site, well worth a visit in its own right. I suspect some seasonal visitors might not realise there is a cafe here as it is slightly further to walk from the town centre/cathedral than some other options, which would be a shame as this is probably the best place for brunch in St Davids. This cafe has its own parking or you can easily walk to it from the main town centre. Last week I came twice for brunch and again for coffee and cake with family members and friends, we were all very happy with our food each time we visited. Consistently well cooked and of high quality. The portion sizes are generous and the meat was good quality. There are vegetarian breakfast/brunch options available as well as options for children. There is outside seating if the weather is good and the cafe is dog friendly with plenty of toilets available in the cafe and outside and space for the kids to run round outside the cafe. I really enjoyed the avocado toast with poached eggs and also the lemon and blackcurrant cake. My partner enjoyed the full Welsh breakfast and kids enjoyed the pancakes. There is a selection of board games available. Can't wait for our next visit!"

"Very disappointing! We went for Sunday lunch as a family, and it did not meet our expectations at all. We ordered four starters: the pancake rolls were soggy and served on wilted lettuce with brown edges; the prawn cocktail was laughable; and my pâté came with stale bread. One of the starters arrived about 12 minutes after everyone else had finished, which was unacceptable. The Sunday roast was decent, but it came with cauliflower cheese, which my daughter-in-law is allergic to, so we had to ask for a different vegetable option for her. The main course included Brussels sprouts (which are out of season) and a mash that was unidentifiable. Plus, no extra gravy was offered! I spoke with the server, who promised to talk to the chef and manager, but that was the last we heard from them—no apologies or discounts were offered. Absolutely shocking! AVOID this place!"
