"I came into the cafe with my family while we were on a day out, we got some ice cream. The servers were normal and polite. We ordered 4 pots of ice cream, one being advertised as vegan. My son is highly allergic to milk and other dairy product's. We sat down to eat and everything was fine, we checked the ingredients after our 3 year old son started to look ill and saw that the pot contained milk. I then went up and informed them of the mistake and told them that my son is allergic, they apologies with a false undertone and one of the young male servers was laughing while I was complaining. They said it was an old menu and that was the reason. I understand that people make mistakes and I am an open minded person who has never left a bad review anywhere however the face that no remorse or a single care was given at the fact my sons now going to be ill for the never few days and his body will be covered in a rash really upset me and my family. We will be reporting to trading standards for the treatment we received and hope that actions will be taken to avoid these kind of negligence in the future."

"Had birthday lunch for a friend at the Horse and Groom. Sunday roast was delicious! Just the right size and full of yummy stuff. Desserts were also lovely. Great service from the team there. Lovely pub in lovely location. Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay there, but highly recommend the pub food and ambience! Nearby activities: Gorgeous walks in countryside and lovely little towns and villages to visit nearby Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Locojos are very obliging and helpful in the current climate. Phoned ahead to order and had a short wait as they were obviously stacked out due to the pandemic. The staff were extremely helpful and phoned back to say the order was ready within ten minutes.Fantastic pizza (chefs special), nachos excellent and lovely mozzarella bites.Great value. Friendly and welcoming.Fully covid secure. Will visit again soon!"

"The restaurant formerly known as Hassan Balti has been revamped and is now called Hassan's Grill and Kitchen. The menu offers a unique variety of cuisines including Indian, Mexican, and a diverse selection of burgers. Despite the unusual combination, they have successfully pulled it off. I tried a burger while my partner opted for Indian cuisine, both of which were delicious. The service was excellent and attentive."

"Best Fish and Chips PERIOD !!! I grew up in England and moved to the USA many years ago. I go back home quite a lot and it’s very sad that you can no longer find a proper good fish and chip shop . Growing up we always knew which ones were the best and wouldn’t go anywhere else . But nowadays they are mostly awful especially the tourist areas and pub fish and chips Yuk . HOWEVER this one is a Must Visit. I was there with my American GF and decided what the heck we haven’t had much look with fish and chips let’s give it a try. WOW Just like back when I was a kid great fish and chips, batter is perfect and chips are amazing just like I remember (good pies as well . GF said it’s ruined “fries” forever for her as they were the best ones she’s ever had . If your a tourist in the cottswolds area and want “proper” British fish and chips eat here . Don’t be fancy and try and eat at a bench, pick them up, sit on the curb outside and enjoy ... :"
