Really liked it , wonderful owner and staff, great service and drinks. Proper village pub.

I had a nice lunch with my father at this restaurant after a walk from Broughton. The staff was lovely and the lunch was great.

Cost per person: £20-30 The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5 in my book. I highly recommend trying the Giant Yorkshire Pudding with Mashed Potato and Cumberland Sausage, as well as the Hickory Chicken.

The BEST charming, old school traditional English pub. We ate the giant Yorkshire pudding with homemade sausage and an incredible homemade pie with roast beef inside and amazing chips and gravy.
