Only had a bacon bap and drink. Bacon was a little overdone and greasy. But staff there very helpful

I won an afternoon tea for two, and it was amazing! Everything was absolutely delicious. A big thank you to your wonderful staff as well!

The food and prices make it a great place to visit. However, I didn't give it five stars because the staff often seem confused about their roles and responsibilities. Ver carta

This is a very nice and clean café with a fantastic selection of delicious food offered at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the Afternoon Tea, which was excellent value for money.

We only stopped by for a quick look on our first day out, and it’s a shame we couldn’t bring our well-behaved dog into the café. We had just one coffee before heading out. The staff at the café were pleasant, but the coffee was average. The food, however, looked appetizing.

I had a fantastic lunch there recently. Obviously the covid situation is making life difficult for the cafe but I had the baked potato with cheese/beans and a side salad and it was great. Lovely well cooked potato and generous topping and side salad. And so hot too. Can’t fault it. Welsh tea as well.... cracking effort Abakhan. Ver carta

the afternoon tea in cafe is super! still best! delicious sandwiches and so many delicious cakes to choose. there was so much that we had to go home in a Doggy bag! had never had a bad meal. many options for everyone. the karvery bap is next to my listing to try as I have heard it is amazing! they also sell some great plant pots only to the side of the caffe and recently they have a kerl on the ground selling gorgeous Christmas christmas and trees!

The fish and chips were fantastic and well worth the short wait of just a few minutes in line, followed by about 15 minutes for our meal to be served, especially during such a busy lunch hour. Everything was freshly prepared. The soft drinks were reasonably priced, comparable to what you'd find at a pub during lunchtime. We were two happy diners, well-fed and content, while we waited for the family members next door to finish their shopping at the fabric store.

I had a spectacular experience with the fish and chips! The price is absolutely justified. The dish was incredibly delicious—the fish was perfectly cooked and flaky, while the chips were truly unique; I’m still amazed at how they shaped them! The service was excellent and very helpful. Although I didn't sit at one of the tables close to the entrance, they looked very nice and clean. At a reasonable total of £12, with £10 for the fish and chips and £1.85 for a Pepsi Max, it's totally worth it! Ver carta
