"We stopped by today after seeing some fantastic reviews and decided to have lunch. The charming blonde lady at the front welcomed us and mentioned they were fully booked, which is always promising! However, she kindly found a way to fit us in and secured a table for my friend, my daughter, and me. She did mention that there might be a bit of a wait, but it turned out to be much shorter than we expected. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were satisfied throughout our meal. I ordered the gammon, which was served with a generous portion of chips hidden beneath it (not visible in the photo). My friend and daughter enjoyed freshly made pizzas, and their only comment was that the pizza sauce could use a little more seasoning or flavor. We would definitely return; the pub has a lovely atmosphere with charming beams and a well-maintained outdoor area. Thank you!"

Had lunch here today and it was fantastic. As I am vegan, there is usually only one or two options when I go out to eat (especially for lunch) however here, I was spoilt for choice! We were served by Matt and someone I didn't catch the name of but appeared to be a manager or supervisor. Both were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and were good portions, too.
