This charming pub provides excellent service. While the fish and chips were delicious, the Venison cottage pie was disappointing. It contained only two small pieces of meat in a gravy, topped with a large amount of mashed potatoes. I would not recommend this dish to anyone.

The pub was charming, but the Sunday lunch was very disappointing. Our entire group found fault with the roast dinners. The lamb was cooked too much and the beef was chewy and lacking in flavor.
