We had an amazing experience at the Crown Inn. Despite being a large group, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was both relaxed and festive, and the food was delightful. We enjoyed the roasts as well as some vegetarian options. The drinks and cocktails were also excellent. Thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely return. Very good food tasty rabbit terrine and a bouillabaisse full of fresh seafood, saffron and samphire. Just a couple of minor gripes: 1. In terms of size and absorbency, the serviette was more suitable for a cocktail than a dinner, especially one that might involve needing to wipe fingers clean. 2. While I got a bowl for shells, I didn't get one to rinse my hands after peeling the prawns in the broth. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We had such a lovely time here. It was family gathering with ten of us celebrating a cherished family get together. The food was excellent; freshly cooked and beautifully served. The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was lovely on a windy wet Thursday evening. Prices were steep but worth it for the lovely time we had.
