"Well I've been meening to go here for a long time as I've heared so much about the place so decided to give it a try and took my better half. Staff where very polite and said it would be about half hour for a table but was seated within 15 minutes our order was taken and food arrived not long after and was amazing quality and enjoyed every last bit. Then desert was just as amazing, if i could put more then 5 stars i would great place, great staff and great food and at a very good price so will definitely be going again very soon. Thanks all for a lovely evening."

Fantastic pub, the staff were so friendly and were very happy to put up with a visit from the Bicester Hash House harriers on a busy Sunday. Very delicious Sunday nut roast too. Thank you Crown Tuns

First visit last night definitely won't be the last....food was fantastic, the staff deserve a special mention, so friendly polite, we were really impressed. Lovely place, would thoroughly recommend.

I thought I knew where the best cakes were served and a pub I often visited in the cotswolds, so I was skeptical for the claims made here. fantastic cake, served fresh and hot (and huge) now I have two favorites!

my second visit here and did not disappoint again. the food was excellent. was sad that the mined lamb cake was not on the menu, but the chicken ham and the lauch was just as good. will be definitiw back and was worth more than the 45-minute drive.

This used to be an amazing pie place with so many different types of pie on offer. Revisited recently, but management had changed. There was still tasty pie on offer, but it was nothing like before. Pie itself was great, but the veggie and sides were bland. Small portion and the veg was just boiled!

Went here for my birthday lunch as always wanted to go and it exceeded expectations the staff were welcoming and friendly very relaxed atmosphere and the choice of pies was immense the service was excellent and the pies were out of this world we would highly recommend and will be returning very soon 5 stars all round
