"I stayed overnight at this hotel and found the room to be bright and clean. The room was equipped with an ironing board/iron, hairdryer, and toiletries. Additionally, there were tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits provided in the room. The hotel is conveniently located just a few yards off the A11. The staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. The food was good. My only complaint would be that the shower, which was over the bath, was somewhat difficult to adjust in terms of heat. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 5. This hotel offers great value for the price."

"Been working my way around the pubs trying out their Sunday lunches. The crown is definitely up there with the best. Generous portions, perfectly cooked and a great size kids roast too. The only little snag was we had to ask for more gravy, but so did a few others the gravy tasted great there just wasn’t enough but they were happy to oblige and brought out a whole boat. My daughter is 5 with a great appetite and had the child’s roast beef and cleared her plate, and I had pork with crackling. Perfectly cooked and tender, with fresh seasonal veg. It was just yummy! A little on the pricey side, but worth the price tag. I’ll be back again! Compliments to the chef!! First picture is the child’s roast beef and the second is the adult roast pork."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. I had almost stopped at a service station for a bite to eat, but decided to carry on further along the A11 in the hope of finding somewhere that my family and I could sit down to eat. The cafe has a small car park outside and a sign saying that it is 'biker friendly ' and 'family friendly '. It is certainly family friendly. The toliets were clean and accessible (essential when travelling with young children). We decided to choose from the breakfast menu (available all day I think) though the cafe served a selection of sandwiches and other savoury hot food, as well as cakes. I chose a vegetarian breakfast, which included vegetarian sausages, and my son had scrambled eggs on toast. It was all freshly cooked and tasty, with good sized portions for the price. The coffee was lovely too. They had a small selection of books and puzzles for your children, which kept my children amused for a while. The staff were lovely, they had clearly been well trained. They were smiling and polite, brought all our food over promptly and cleared our things to make more space when we ordered coffee. I couldn 't ask for more of a roadside cafe. If it was closer to home, I would visit frequently."

"These guys deserve to do well. Always friendly and hard-working, their food is always good and they offer some very tasty special dishes we have not come across that often as keen Indian foodies. For takeaways, they are always ready to collect when they say it will be ready. They do home delivery too but this obviously takes a little longer. If there's one area of improvement I'd say it is the eating-in experience itself. While the service is still first class, the dining room itself could be more inviting and warmer sometimes. Keep up the great work, guys."

"It's a shame this lovely little venue is still closed down even now covid regulations have lifted but fortunately they still do food takeaway /delivery. I couldn't find the menu online to see what they offer, but I was able to call and as it was Sunday order the Sunday roast. This is available as a small or large, which is a nice option, as I personally prefer a smaller portion. I did ask if they had a vegan option , which they didn't but as a one off I had the vegetarian nut roast and was able ask for it without the Yorkshire or cauliflower cheese. Even as a small portion , it was really generous and had lots of vegetables, which makes me happy. Would certainly order from here again and even more so I look forward to this venue opening its doors hopefully soon, so I can enter the venue for food and drinks ."
