Visited with family for Sunday lunch. The service and team were very friendly however were slightly let down as the food took ages to arrive. I think there was a delay in the kitchen. It was well handled but was not ideal. Lovely location Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Visited the George for the first time today. The food was amazing, I had the chicken curry pie. Wow!!. The place is lovely with excellent staff. Had a wonderful lunch with a fantastic atmosphere. The average cost per person is between £10 and £20. The food was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was excellent as well, also receiving a perfect score of 5. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also rated a 5. Highly recommend trying the Whitebait and Salt and Pepper Crispy Squid dishes.

Beautiful pub, one of my favourite in the area. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious. The crispy squid tasted so fresh and the risotto was amazing. Three course meal for £45ish pp with drinks. We will definitely be back.
