Excellent meal. Would highly recommend this takeaway, fast service. Excellent choice on the menu. Still eating the next day!

The chow mein here is excellent, we thoroughly enjoy their food. Whenever we're looking for a quick bite to eat, this is our go-to spot. The service is fast and the portions are generous.

A friend suggested we try this Chinese restaurant. The customer service was absolutely terrible! We waited for 2 hours for delivery of 2 dishes, chips, and noodles. There was no apology or any gestures of goodwill for the long wait. We will not be returning. Ver carta

This place just never answers their phone, instead it goes to voicemail. Are they even aware? It’s so frustrating. Even if they said we are taking orders in 20 minutes time you’d know what’s what. I end up driving down there and having to wait for food to be cooked. Pointless

We had a takeaway on the first night of our holiday in Fowey. We ordered by telephone and were advised that delivery would be about an hour as they were very busy (Friday evening). The food was delivered as advised an hour later which was great. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed it so much, we ordered another takeaway a week later! This time they were even busier and told us that delivery would be about two hours. Two hours later the food arrived and again was excellent. Highly recommended.

This restaurant used to be the top choice for takeout in the area. However, since they switched to only accepting cash for delivery, we decided to visit the shop and found out they only accept cash for all transactions. This could be inconvenient for customers, especially with the limited availability of ATMs in the area outside of business hours. It seems like they may be losing a significant amount of business because of this policy. After being regular customers of Golden Wok for 12 years, we now order from other restaurants due to this change. Ver carta

As usual good quality of food but very much let down tonight by there delivery service! Rang at 5.20pm placed order.Told an hour and 10 mins or may be sooner for delivery.However it was gone 7pm before food arrived.I rang the shop to chase my order,only to be told their driver had gone missing!? A phonecall to any customers waiting to apologise would of helped to reassure us.However the counter staff were not very helpful let alone apologetic. Shame,nice food but let down by delivery service and lack of customer care. Also only accepting cash is another questionable debate!?

Called and ordered and was told to collect 30 minutes later. They did not want payment over the phone. Got there on time to be told we need to wait 10 minutes and when I questioned it was told the food is cooked fresh and they have had some no shows. I would have gladly paid over the phone or gone there to order if they just said so. No need to be rude or snappy! The food was not horrible but I always order chicken chow mein and I have never had one that is sweet with mushrooms and chunky carrots and peas. So not your standard Chinese. Thanks but I will not be back or recommending this take away.

We were staying in Fowey and my sister-in-law had joined us for a few days. Having all had a busy day we were tired and didn't fancy eating out, so phoned for a take-away. It took just over an hour to arrive, which we were told about and was fine. The person taking the order was cheerful and the driver was really lovely. The food was delicious and the portions are huge! We very much enjoyed it and we've never had a bad meal from here. The only thing I will say is that you have to pay cash when it's delivered. Fortunately my sister-in-law was treating us and had some cash available, but we very rarely carry much cash these days, as I'm sure is the same for a lot of people, so had it been just... Ver carta
