"I absolutely adore this place. It's the best coffee shop in Guildford. The coffee is fantastic and the service is top-notch. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between £1-10. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Baklava, as it's delicious. For vegetarians, there are plenty of clearly labeled options on the menu. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great coffee shop with vegetarian offerings."

"We opted for the Sharing Menu for Two, featuring a vegetarian selection and the chef's special picks, along with a Piña Colada—perfectly sweet, just the right balance. I also shared an Espresso Martini with a friend, and it was absolutely delicious! The meal started with a basket of pita and homemade bread, accompanied by tzatziki and aubergine cream. The bread was beautifully presented, and I also sampled the aubergine cream. I never expected such a fantastic combination! Next, we tried the Dolmadakia, which were delightful, and the feta filo fried cheese spring rolls drizzled with honey were a highlight—so tasty! The chicken tacos featured tender pork shreds that tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the Aubergine Imam; although I'm not usually a fan of onions, they were cooked down until soft and the sauce masked the onion's flavor quite well—not bad at all! The barbecue-glazed pork souvlaki was truly exceptional—definitely a 10/10! It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. To finish off, I ordered dessert: a pistachio cake with cinnamon white chocolate sauce. I found it a bit too sweet for my taste; however, those who enjoy sweeter treats may want to give it a try. "Pho in Guildford Overall Spring rolls A bit too dry and too oily seems like a bit overcooked and it is quite small one and they still cut it to half. Source is lovely. Squid Same it is a bit too dry and a bit overcooked. The squids taste like not very fresh. Beef combo pho It is quite fulfilling to me and taste delicious! Soup is definitely hot enough and very refreshing. Beef’s texture is good and the beef meatballs are great Beef baskets with curry and rice Quite fulfilling tho and curry is perfect for the rice! Not very spicy you can see they put some chilli in there but not really spicy. And you can see from pictures they put quite a lot crushed peanuts on top which is very nice. Beef baskets are a bit too hard to eat and swallow. We still ordered one green tea lemonade drink but it is too small for me and I can finish it in 10 minutes."

"Lovely historic building, not overly large so space limited and would recommend booking during busy periods. Very friendly and attentive staff who also had a good knowledge of the building history which was nice to hear. Went for a late lunch and took advantage of their fixed price two course menu, a couple of cocktails and some bread and olives. Very large bowl of olives which was nice, they were pitted and we do prefer non pitted as tend to be more flavourful, however these were still enjoyable and a good sized portion. Bread was reasonable but nothing outstanding. Bruschetta nice, sweet tomatoes and fresh, street pizza found a little sloppy and a bit bland personally. Mains an Arrabiata sauce they kindly changed penne to spaghetti for my partner, pasta nicely cooked, sauce could have used a little more chilli, simple but tasty overall. I had the Carbonara which tasted creamy but as I had a little bit of a cold I'm not sure if it actually had a touch of cream but it certainly wasn't a full cream base which was good. I did find it although rich slightly bland in both the pancetta and the cheese, again I had a slight cold but expected the flavours to be a bit more punchy. Couldn't manage a dessert but we did both go for a liqueur coffee, myself a Scottish and my partner an Italian, both were pleasant and well made. The two cocktails as well had a decent measure of alcohol, quite well balanced flavour wise and whilst I've had much better they were certainly enjoyable. Definitely would give it a try again, sniffle free to give a fair shot. The staff and the very reasonable price for lunch would make a visit attractive, but would also like to go for an evening meal and a more relaxed experience."
