return visit, tasty eating, reasonable Co-Vid measures, good beer and Vino selection and cheap prices, look forward to a return visit post november lockdown.

Recently moved to area, visited on a Friday Evening, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Good choice of beers, and polite and efficient service, looking forward to a return very soon.

stay in the opposite for the weekend and booked for Sunday lunch well in advance. Welcome to a safe and cozy environment. the staff was great, the meal was fantastic and the sticky toffee pudding is to die! Ver carta

I went with my mum, food was amazing! I had two wraps because I couldn’t decide between the two (lol). Staff were extremely polite, the place was very clean and well spaced out. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Just had another lovely Sunday roast. We had the beef rump, lovely and pink, the ladies had the veggie nut roast and squash risotto which went down great. All delicious. The staff are all very helpful and super friendly, a minor mix up over desert...was sorted immediately, without hesitation.

This was our first meal out since lockdown! It did not disappoint. The staff were lovely as usual and the COVID set up was very well organised and professional. The food was so delicious, I had the vegan burger and my partner had the buttermilk...fried chicken. I can also recommend their Sunday Roast. Such a lovely place Ver carta

Wonderful Sunday dinner. My husband had pork belly starter I had the mackerel pate. Both dishes very tasty. My husband then had roast lamb I had the beef brisket. Absolutely delicious we really could not fault it very generous portions and excellent value for money....Very good range of wines, beers and ales. We will definitely return. Thankyou

this country pub is real hidden gem, full character and a very warm welcome. (our waitress was absolutely beautiful and a real credit to the place) they think of huge open fireplaces and low wooden beams, a quintessial old English pub with an impressive menu. we were happy enough to let sit in front of the fire, with a view of the beautiful pine Christmas tree. at no point were we fed in a cozy pace and we enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere and relax. the pork bell was nice to begin, and the duck jam and fish and chips were fabulous! there was so much on the menu that we tied up trying that we cannot wait to go back to our next meal!

During these troubled times recognition for an enjoyable experience can only be beneficial to the proprietors and staff of that particular establishment , thus this review . After so much time not being able to dine out due to government restrictions our first meal had...to be The Haywain, as we used this place on many occasions in the past with satisfaction . We didn't really know what to expect but all our concerns were put to rest on entering. Hand sanitizer at entrance and a one way system in operation.
