Great venue for Mam's birthday lynch. Staff were fantastic, really treated her like a Queen. Can't thank them enough for making her day

Everything about this place is good. Good choice, atmosphere. Every member of staff was really nice and helpful. Good choices were good, as were portion size

The steak on the stone was amazing. The other food too was really enjoyed by the other guests. Staff were very friendly and informative and made the experience even nicer. Ver carta

Food was very nice but was full after my starter if soup. Maybe reduce the cost and portion. We were also disappointed that the menu online had items we wanted but were not available on the night and was part of the reason we booked

We ate at the Hearty Hedgehog last night. The staff were lovely, polite and charming. Our food was good and plenty of it. It was good value for money too. My only suggestion would be that the restaurant needs more artefacts/pictures to give it more character.

The food was really nice but the service was appalling in fact we would probably not return because of the poor service which is a shame as the food was lovely and good sized portions. On top of that thecar Park is a disgrace full of potholes and not enough lighting Ver carta

We had a fabulous meal while staying at the Manor. We were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our table by a lovely young waiter. We were offered water for the table straight away and also drinks. There was a wide variety of starters but we chose the mushrooms in a garlic cream and scallops . The mushrooms were divine and the scallops were equally as good according to my partner. For mains I chose the seafood linguine and across the table chose the pork belly with black pudding mash. Both were delicious and I would like to say thank you to the chef for producing some fantastic plates of food

we were initially somewhat disappointed that only the Sunday lunch menu was available, and not the a la carte (as our first visit was, and we were excited to try the menu), but we all found very acceptable decisions there anyway. the food was well presented, tasty and the portions were so much that we had no place for dessert! excellent value for money at just £16.95 for 2 courses. the bottle wein that we have chosen was also very good, although the waiting workers did not seem au fait with normal practice for serving is a rare event that the patrons wein order from the bottle?! there were almost no other diners when we decided to have a late lunch (2.30) in this presentation I found the mus...

I booked a table for my girlfriend and I. When we arrived the restaurant was empty which was a bit surprising as it was 7pm. We were seated an asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, not knowing that it would be £4.50 a bottle. When it came to ordering food, the menu was small but not too small. We were then told after asking for the belly pork that there was in fact none left, something that we had not been told before. Instead we got the beef feather blade and the Thai red curry.
