Nice pub, good location. Chef was unwell sadly but we did get some cheesy chops and they were good. Beer selection very good, staff friendly. Nice small but sunny garden. Ver carta

This was my first time visiting The Heron since moving to the area. The atmosphere was fantastic and the live music was great. I will definitely be returning on Wednesday for the darts.

We visited with a group of friends for a Sunday roast, food was excellent but what made it even better was the service. Teresa looked after us and made sure our visit was a memorable one. Definitely worth the 5 stars.

We went to The Heron after a pleasant stroll around Westam, despite getting a bit muddy. After changing our shoes, we sat at our pre-booked table. We ordered the Sunday Roast, which came with plenty of delicious vegetables, tasty roast potatoes, tender meat, and a nice Yorkshire pudding. We also had a side of creamy cauliflower cheese. The service was good and the prices were reasonable, although I was disappointed that they charged for soda and fresh lime, which I believe should be complimentary. Overall, we had a delightful dinner and might try dessert next time, although we were too full on this visit. Ver carta
