"Not this time. A good “eating place” is recognized by the consistency of their standards. The sirloin steak we were served this time was not even bigger than an iPhone 6s (or a Samsung mini), it was tough to chew, unseasoned and not medium rare. And when you sell beef, you must be fair and consistent on weight and quality. This time it was a sad experience. We had really liked the place the first few times we had been there and had even recommended to friends. Well, I guess either the kitchen staff has changed or the management is not doing good business therefore has to make cuts on the portions they serve. Really sorry, but we can no longer recommend it. Taking 3 stars off from our previous rating. We might give them a chance for redemption a year from now, we are still digesting the steak."

Has great food, the drink prices are fair, and it's cozy. I usually stop here on a Friday after work for dinner and a beer.

Great service with a fabulous bar tender, good drinks & delicious food. Definitely worth a visit - one of the best locations in Ramstein!

Fantasic food and a fantastic bunch of staff. If you want a good night out and fond memories go here, I go here for a proper pint of Guinness when away from Ireland. Ver carta

This place is a hidden gem. For those retirees that travel through Ramstein and want a great place for food, cocktails, and billiards and darts need to come here. The Chef is from Ireland and makes fantastic authentic Irish dishes. A must and highly recommended. If you don't go, you are truly missing out on a wonderful experience.

The first thing everyone says when they walk in the door is "I can't believe I didn't know this was here! After that, they're hooked. Fantastic classic Irish pub with great food/beer/atmosphere. The quality is first-rate, but the prices are so reasonable that it won't kick you in the wallet. If you have kids, they'll love looking through the glass windows into the indoor arena where there is always horse riding going on. Go check the place out for either a quick pint or a full meal. After that, I guarantee you'll come back.

From the reviews and recommendation of an associate I was pretty excited to try this place. My husband had the JJ burger which was just ok. I had the sirloin and it was not cooked the way I asked and was pretty flavorless. The baked potatoe and sweet potatoe fries were really good, however. The feel of the place is really nice and welcoming. Perhaps I should have tried the fish and chips or shepards pie. I saw another table order it and it looked really good. I did see them seasoning their plates as well, perhaps the just don't season here. Ver carta

Visited this place a couple of times and enjoyed the bartenders. So I decided to bring my son for the cuisine. The fish and chips were light but a little greasy. Definitley frozen. My son enjoyed the appetizers of mozzarella sticks and calamari. Unfortunately there was a bartender I had not met and she was not very friendly nor seemed to care. She made the bar feel like it was a locals only place and I watched her consistently frown or sigh at us "tourists". I didn't feel comfortable or welcomed. Bar and grills thrive on the bartender and/or servers people skills. Hers was more of a people kill.

Surprise in Ramstein. We had given up finding decent eatery in the area. We happened to be in the mood for fish and chips with vinegar, and stumbled upon this Irish pub/restaurant right after St Patricks day. Relaxed atmosphere, very kind service, pubbish with good attentiveness to food quality and preparation. Few days later, we went back to try out their meat and were not disappointed. Beef was tender even if not the best cut, it wasn’t perfectly cooked but almost, and the side orders, corn on the cob and sweet potatoes fried, compensated for the imperfection. We’ll return to try their specials, it’s worth our time.

"Wife was in the mood for Italian, so we decided to give Trattoria a try. We had long been intrigued by what was back up that road. What's up there is a lovely location. The restaurant sits in what folks back in TN would call a holler. It's nestled among ridgelines next to a tennis club. To take advantage of their setting, they have a nice outdoor area, which includes a small playground for children. Once inside the service was excellent. The waitress spoke very good English, and they offered English translations on the menu. I must admit however, there was practically no one in the place, so she didn't have much else to do. Regardless, she was very nice. And after our meal, a man I assume was the owner came out to greet us and thank us for coming. But despite these pluses, the food was average at best. My wife had the spaghetti Bolognese, and it reminded us both of school cafeteria spaghetti. It wasn't terrible, but nothing to write home about. I had the Tagliatelle with chicken and beef in a red wine sauce. Reminded me of something you'd get out of the grocery store freezer...you know, like a Stouffers sort of thing. Again, nothing special. The wine list was generic...literally. It just listed about 8 varietals (e.g.: chianti, pinot grigio, etc.), which they serve either by the glass, or in a 0.5 liter decanter.I would definitely agree with an earlier review we read: “There are better Italian places to eat...”"
