Was there 4th November and we were served by a gorgeous young lady called Ruby (can't remember her last name). She couldn't have been nicer, will definitely be back. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We went for dinner during the middle of the week and enjoyed a 50% discount on our meal. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were great. We were surprised by how quiet it was, considering the high quality of the food. We highly recommend The Plough. Ver carta

We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday and enjoyed the delicious food. However, we were disappointed by the extremely poor service. The young staff mostly stood around chatting and we had to repeatedly ask for drinks and for our plates to be cleared. We had planned on staying for dessert, but after waiting a long time with our three young children for someone to take our order, we decided to leave. Another couple also left because they were not given menus or had their order taken.

I stayed for two nights, it was lovely would definitely recommend. Front of house, domestic team were really helpful. The food was outstanding, twelve of us ate and everyone really enjoyed their food, nothing left on any plate. I also had two breakfasts, beautiful wish I could have stayed longer and tried more of the menu! Parking: Loads of parking, just a little tight getting up to the car park. Very nice bnb close to Alnwick town centre. My room was called fettle. Nice bathroom, comfy bed but tv too small. Fantastic food i had a sunday roast, try the gravey its amazing.i also had a curry, didnt want monkfish n prawn they accomdated me with making chicken and making it spicey. Just 2 things let it down size of tv with isnt that bad and the noisey maserator on thr toilet. Other than that great stay and recommend it.
