"only place in donaghadee you can get real beer on the hand pump that is so much better than tap. eating is from a very high standard with a menu for all. they can eat in the restaurant above, but this has no disabled access. fortunately, there are also plenty of space in the lounge, which is perfectly furnished for diners and has the same selection of menu and a beautiful atmosphere and which is easily accessible to everyone with an impediment. we arrived on Thursday without booking to lunch (more popular times can be advisable to book). my man and my friend had the roast beef that was so nicely cooked that it fell moist, tender and lightly apart. I had the steak and ale pee that was packed with meat and absolutely delicious. also the veg was perfectly cooked. we will certainly be back and would recommend this place to everyone."

I come here often with my Aunt and Uncle as they quite like it here. The specials are always tasty and the food and drink is of good price and selection. The consistency of the service and food is excellent. It is fantastic food/pub restaurant food. However, you may be waiting a little bit for it. Ver carta

Food not bad but let down by the guy who served us: more interested in his hair than serving customers. I heard it was being sold and hope they don't keep this guy on, have met the rest of the staff coming in for a pint and they were all great. Pints are good too, just let down by this one person unfortunately and I won't be back while he is there as very rude.

we ate in the henry’s bistro, which was beautifully decorated. chairs were comfortable, we have a window seat. Eating was delicious our waitress lesley was very helpful. my only complicity was that they did not do clobige chips just personal preference,) fortunately my girlfriend liked them exchanged them for a bratkartoffel her mother gave me also her) would highly recommend it.

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
