The Old Storehouse, Amble

this place is disgusting eating was cold and some parts were cold.

Had no record of our booking. Ended up getting our own menus was half an hour before someone took our order. Food was nice. Was quite busy not enough staff.

Traveled far to be told they only sold carvery, (we only chose here for the menu). Carvery was basic and cold, had to open 2 doors to get to room where our table was. Ver carta

Although iv recomened it there are a few issuse that need addressing,i booked throught open table but when i got there the booking was not on their system, the menu was compleatly differant to the one on the website, i stood waiting for a good 5 minutes before anyone came and spoke to me , not enough staff on a saturday night for the amount of people in the place.

Lovely clean place to eat and food was tasty but unfortunately the menu displayed online is not the menu they were serving because the usual chef was on holiday.....I’d booked the table based on the food I wanted to order and unfortunately there was a choice of only 3 starters no sign of the scallops I’d set my heart on.....i just wish I’d known in advance that the menu changed frequently

ignore the review and recommend a friend, as I am not able to evaluate. it was opened and the table was not booked. although I had my confirmation email, there were no tables available. there were great laughs at us and we had to lay down somewhere else to eat, which was not really practical. However, we managed to find a restaurant where we eat, but obviously was not ideal if we wanted to eat here at this time. Thank you. Ver carta

Ignore the rating and recommend a friend as I am unable to rate. Turned up and the table had not been booked. Although I had my confirmation email there were no tables available. There were grandparents with us and we had to venture out to find somewhere else to eat which was not really practical. Grandparents which are on timed medication which have to be taken with food which made this delayed. However we did manage to find a restaurant to eat in but obviously was not ideal when we planned to eat here at this time. Thanks.

the warehouse is a nice pub / restaurant on the website of the amble left northumberland. we decided to make a meal before we finish our holiday on the 4th april. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to eat hard because of an operation I had before two. my sister and her son had a nice meal, I told the staff that I had something either mixed (they had no mixer) so I chose kartoffel, soft vegetables, which I could mix with a fork and gravure. the potatoes were gummy and the sweet was far from soft, so my meal paid when I couldn't eat it. serving the girl was really nice about the situation, but the men cook in the kitchen should be ashamed. on a brighter note my sister enjoyed and her son her mea...

The storehouse is a lovely pub /restaurant on the site of amble links Northumberland. We decided to go for a meal prior to ending our holiday on 4th April. Unfortunately l wasn't allowed to eat anything solid due to an operation I'd had two weeks earlier. My sister and her son had a lovely meal, l explained to staff that l would need to have something either blended (they didn't have a blender) so l chose mashed potato, soft vegetables which l could mash with a fork and gravy. The mashed potatoes were rubbery and the vegetables were far from soft so that put paid to my meal as l couldn't eat it.
