Wonderful rooms, great pizza night and fabulous breakfast with steeplechasing images and some memorabilia. Great service and very friendly staff. Felt welcome.

Stayed the night as my Nieces reception was held there. Good size rooms,comfy beds. Coffee and tea making in rooms. Very large English breakfast in the morning

Amazing food, great service and beautiful decor. I had a burger with with sweet potato fries, burger was a delicious flavour. Hubby had the best rib eye steak he ever had. His Chocolate brûlée with lemon shortbread was perfect and my pistachio mousse was to die for. Cant wait to see what breakfast is like in the morning.

I recommended the Pesto Chicken Pizza to a friend. I couldn 't believe how delicious it is. She said I think this is possibly the best pizza I have ever had! Had a wonderful Sunday Lunch which was cooked to perfection. It was the first time we had eaten here and most certainly won't be the last. It was nice to see a busy restaurant I think every table was in use. The staff were excellent at servicing a busy room. Timings were brilliant not kept waiting and not rushed either. The room felt really calm and relaxed. Well worth a visit.

We stayed here this weekend and had dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. It is an absolutely charming pub full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and clean; the staff are delightful and the food absolutely delicious all local produce, cooked and presented beautifully. The portions are enormous; totally defeated both my husband and I though. Highly recommended.

Off the cuff meal out, we were recommended this gastro pub by a friend. So we tried it wasn’t disappointed, our waitress was Anastasia and she was lovely and attentive. In fact herself and oli was excellent, credit to the business. Roast was excellent, we also had the hake which was lovely. The artichoke was very salty which we did feed back to chef. We will definitely be back with family and friends. Ver carta
