Fabulous welcome, Fabulous service, Fabulous food, Loved the deco especially in the loos

Booked for my 50th, but had to cancel. As they wouldn't accommodate for my daughter from the week menu.

Not sure what the door staff dress up as at this establishment but they aren’t very friendly. Police were there too! Not a nice environment atall.

We came to the Rancliffe arms for lunch today(28th may 2024), what a lovely place, very attentive staff,absolutely lovely food, theres not enough 's to give,we wll be back, although were in west sussex, so a bit of a trek, thank you Ver carta

Tasty carvery after a nice walk in the park nearby. All the staff were very friendly. The chef carving the meat was super nice and funny. The food was perfect tasted like a homemade Sunday roast. Good value, traditional decor just want you want for a Sunday lunch with family.

Can not fault the carvery it was lovely and plenty to choose from ,fresh veggies and delicous roasties. Only downside was the queue for the carvery . To many people booked in at the same time. Think it might help if times were staggerd so not everyone is going to the carvery when booked for 12 clock. By the time we were leaving around 2 pm ish there was only 2 people waiting at the carvery and the resturant had filterd out a bit more so not so crowded. I would recommend going around 1.30 for a carvery . Food delicous though.

Great carvery option, excellent selection of sides to load the plate up with! Everything from your classic carrot to year round brussell sprouts, to mini sausages to root veg mash. The meat itself was very good, I had beef and ham, which was all flavoursome and served in a good portion size (3 to 4 slices of meat). The chap on the carvery section itself was a good laugh, very fun and engaging with the conversation. Don't fill up too much on the carvery though, as the desserts options are good, rich and decadent too! There wasn't really enough parking in their car park, and the dining rooms got very warm on a hot day. Ver carta
