"Having coming to regency for the past >20 years. It’s only fair I give you valuable feedback. I’m 34, and have been regular from South London to Regency since I’ve been 13! Regency is a family business that’s always have had family feel to it,...especially with Pankaj PM. Food has always been amazing since my teenage days. We as a family could not stop recommending it to everyone. It was authentic indian/kenyan style of food. We would visit from South London on a Sunday every 1 2 months and we loved it. However, since Post COVID the food has definitely not been the same. There has definitely been a compromise with flavour etc. We’re glad and totally understand the need to adapt to modern times to survive as business and aspire with higher goals (whatever that may be, whether that’s scaling, etc. . We are truly glad to see Regency moving with the times and honestly wish you all the best. However, the past 3 visits we’ve definitely witnessed and tasted the drop in quality of food. For example, chicken tikka, you could tell it was warmed before serving, it may be freshly cooked on the day and then warmed, but you can tell by looking at the colour and also through the texture when tasting. Another example, tallapia fish and tawa chicken… These items were once amazing and the one thing I loved about Regency was the consistency of quality of food, it was amazing how you achieved that through the years. However, as mentioned we have noticed a drop in quality. We have also heard same feedback from family and friends. Word of mouth within the Gujarati community is strong and hugely important,. Nevertheless, rather than listening to them we thought we would be the judge ourselves and I had to sadly agree. In comparison to Everest Spice, Purple Flames, Abercorn I would say average now. Before, Regency was the place! As mentioned being a long term customer, it’s only fair I give back valuable feedback and we would love to see Regency make a comeback. You may take a balanced view and go well business is thriving we’re fine! You could do! But is that Regency’s attitude? Especially after working so hard over the years in maintaining that high standard. Service was great and always has been, so defo kudos where its due! Love the extended menu and trying new things like vegan jeera lamb etc. Great sign on moving with times. But please bring back the authentic taste that you once had. Wish you all the best!"

One of our favourite places to eat- we're always running back here. As always top service and impeccable food and we were looked after by Rony, Cynel, Ibrihim, Alpha and their team. Their food and hospitality is always top notch. Isher Devsi family

the regency is great. I never had a bad meal here. everyone who tries to do it for the first time is impressed. service is good, with a warm atmosphere. when they come with children at certain days, they will probably be in one area that fits and they can still watch sport on a large screen. I will always return and bring new flavors. thanks. regency :

the last time I was in the regency was Vorkovid. I had some supplies, but they can't beat the dunes in experience. it was as good as I could remember and in the rule we have ordered over, but it was worth it! p m. gönnte us as if we family and it was reciprocated, the service was always amazing. even mr. sharma has found time to say hello. as far as eating is concerned, I ask her to try it yourself!

the only time I can visit the regency club is when my team barnet will play on her floor and that happened on Saturday (we have drawn! 5 of us from chelmsford had lunch there and we all said how much. the experience was. the workers are very pleasant and know their things; eating is wonderful and the place is certainly different than the majority of so-called Indian restaurants in our opposite. it is now an additional incentive for me to support my club so that we can be promoted in the same league as barne and so come to eat at least once a year. press regency club for exisitng!

After hearing rave reviews from work colleagues I visited on a Sunday evening a few weeks ago. All good, nice food. Fast forward to Friday 1st July and a totally different story. I was asked had I made a reservation even though when you phone...they tell you it is a walk in restaurant. Starters were ok, mains were nice. We were rushed though and told we could only have the table for 90 minutes even though it was relatively quiet with apparently no booking required. Maybe it was our ethnicity or the fact we were a group of four early 20’s adults? Not sure if I will visit again based on this time. Definitely not made to feel welcome.

we were there as guests for a birthday party, of course that means that all foods were ordered by the hostes, but we had a full of directed, from starters to sweets, both vegetarian and not veg. everything I tasted was delicious. For...drinks, I stayed at the provided weeps (also the house wine was excellent) but on the look for the menu, there was a good selection of drinks, including some interesting cocktails. service from the waiter was very good, and the prices (from the search for the menu) were in tune with a raised suburb Indian restaurant: not cheap, but not excessive. my only criticism was the cramped seating on a hard and uncomfortable wooden bench we had several tables in a corne...

"before visiting myself, I had called to book a table and demand a certain type of sitting space to meet our needs. the dame over the phone advised that she could not guarantee that a table, as the restaurant fills quickly. Although this can be their policy, I cannot understand the point of booking if they cannot meet the needs of their customers. the point of booking is to prepare the restaurant for the customers and their specifications. we booked. the caffe itself is on the street and parking can be something to be superior if they are not familiar with the opposite. I believe that the parking space next to the pavement on Sunday or the rest of the week after a certain time that I cannot remember is free. once ordered, the food came hot and the staff was nice and accommodating. but I and my friend both felt sick when we ate the sausages and felt bad all day. the sausages were 80 cattle and 20 chickens, as we said. perhaps the type of oil that was used or something else there was simply a strange after taste that was not paleable for both of us. the portions themselves are quite larger, enough to fill them. the restaurant itself was packed almost completely around a few hours into the opening, so it seems like a popular place. the tables themselves are not big, so we do not have much space to move around objects, although there is not much of an annoying for us to eat. the coffees were made according to my opinion quickly and to a good standard. I also ordered from this caffe in my house and the food came as it looked in person."
