Great place with friendly staff. Food was delicious. Fascinating history with lots of photos on the walls showing the building when it was a hospital. We will definately return.

Booked in on the Saturday as the Roundhouse had only just re-opened on the Friday. Had a 3-course Anniversary meal celebration with great food and attentive and friendly staff. Had a lovely time .. highly recommend

This place is under new management so ignore any poor reviews from the past. 4 of us all had different meals and all were excellent. Beautiful, historic setting and great atmosphere. Perfectly safe. Highly recommend

I was not aware of this restaurant until my partner found it online. I really like the building, it has a cool vibe. This was hands down the best Sunday dinner I have ever had at a pub. I will definitely be returning.

Went for a Sunday lunch and had the beef. The staff were attentive and the food came out in good time and tasted great. The music and general atmosphere was also very good. I shall definitely be looking to visit again.

Not really a review but this is just to let you know that The Roundhouse reopens on August 14th 2023. Great news for this hidden gem. I hope they retain the same laid back feel. No word on whether they are selling real ales as...

Called in on a quiet Wednesday evening for a quick drink. Covid measures were well implemented. Interesting building with many old photos that commemorated the historic old General Hospital site. Pleasant service in a relaxed setting.

I was lucky enough to visit The Roundhouse for my birthday meal just before lockdown and was really excited to visit again, this time for a post-lockdown Sunday lunch. The food and service was excellent; staff were attentive throughout to make sure glasses were full and clean plates cleared. Without a doubt, worth a trip (and then another one).

Decent ale selection, enjoyed the small plates food. Dead quiet though probably due to the beer festival across the other side of town at Trent Bridge. As a result of this, we received very good service from the friendly staff. One improvement that could be suggested (very minor) might be a few more craft beers to choose from in the fridge, but this angle is covered more than adequately by the Crafty Crow: Magpie Brewery pub across the street.
