The Glutenfree Afternoon Tea is on the left. Everything was delicious and there was more than enough. We ended up taking some home. I would recommend going.

This is a fantastic place to dine, and afterward, you can unwind in their lovely, clean, and fresh rooms. I highly recommend it for anyone, whether for business or leisure.

Roast dinner was a let down was swimming in gravey .Yorkshire pudding missing had to ask were they was .and roast potatoes was aired. Shame really as we used to love going here. Ver carta

Went for mother's Day, food was 80% good (veg was either massively undercooked or overcooked) and service was good. I think because it was so busy that it wasn't at its best. But we'd still go again.

Smelled awful, old and musty, out of 4 people one liked the meal, one person had salmon that overcooked it was hard at both ends, I wasn't paying or I would have sent for manager, must add the ice cream was delicious Grampa Greens. Sorry used to be the place to go few years back but won't be returning.

A lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful dining room. There were cheese and onion sandwiches, ham and mustard and cream cheese and cucumber. A small sausage roll. The assortment of cakes was amazing and a lovely fresh scone with jam and clotted cream. Washed down by several cups of tea. My only moan was that I would have preferred a choice of sandwich fillings. However, it was a lovely afternoon. Ver carta

We are staying at the hotel as guests and we had a light bite yesterday, we were so impressed with the quality of the food and service we also booked for the Sunday roast which did not disappoint. Despite being extremely busy the waitresses and bar staff were fantastic and we were never kept waiting for anything. Great value with options for two or three courses. If we are in the area again we will be sure to call by.

I am writing an updated review following my visit last week, where I was not particularly satisfied with the service or the food. However, David Wood, the General Manager, reached out to me personally to invite me back and address my concerns from my previous experience. I'm delighted to share that this time around, the service from all the staff was outstanding; they were very attentive and accommodating. The food exceeded my expectations, as they took my feedback into consideration and made the recommended changes. So firstly I want to thank the waiting staff and the host, they were superb and very attentive. What did let the experience down of our festive Christmas 3 course lunch, was sadly the food at £20.50 per person it does represent good value for money however as you can see the presentation and quality of the food served in our opinion was woeful. The Prawn cocktail starter was just terrible with zero thought or care given to the items on the plate. Our Main course was brought out and we had ordered 3 Turkey Christmas lunches but we got 3 portions of Salmon ! So that had to be sent back, when the correct food was eventually brought out it was effectively ruined by the over seasoned and way too... Ver carta
