Drove past many times, big mistake. Fantastic venue Good selection of ales, very friendly staff. Plus its very nice to see a bowling green.

Had a lovely sunday roast here today with my father ,can not fault it in anyway and the staff are amazing. Highly recommend, will definitely be going again .

Met a friend for lunch at the Stag. Friendly service, warm atmosphere great food with plenty of choice. Even had separate gluten free menu for my friend. Will definitely be back.

All 4 of us had a lovely time. All of the food was great. Good selection of food including catering for gluten free. I would recommend the salt and pepper chicken and the chicken parmo.

Service was very good. Food was cooked well. Was disappointed with my Supreme of Chicken it was a small portion for the price, definitely needs either more dauphinois potatoes or vegetables.

Another good Sunday lunch. We had starters of black pudding with mustard sauce and chicken paté. The we had the small beef and lamb roasts. All our food was very tasty. Prices are reasonable and service was good.

We had dinner here: the chicken burger and the lamb Henry. The lamb was very good! With delicious mash and gravy. The chicken burger very good too, with fresh tasting ingredients. And we saw the famous Antrobus soul cakers !

Having attended a very early funeral service for my sister. The Stag was recommended to us for a breakfast buffet. It did not disappoint and their was plenty of food provided. Thank you to Lisa and her staff. Highly recommended.

First time but certainly not the last!!! Fantastic staff especially the lady with red hair behind the bar, if carlsberg did customer service!!! Great to see that staff instantly offered accompaniments to the amazing Sunday lunch. Well done everyone xxx
