Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. Love that you can see everything cooked to order. Great couple and a must visit if near to Swaffham.

The Christmas dinner dessert was incredible. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and fantastic. This place is lovely, and we will definitely be back!

A warm welcome and a fabulous Sunday roast. The best part is if you have people in your party with different appetites you can choose the amount that you want to eat and the type of meat. Brilliant! Ver carta

Totally off the cuff visit as walk-in's visiting the area for a Sunday carvery. Don't judge a book by it's cover as the front of the building, compared with inside! it's Delightful!. The meal was splendid, the cook and waitress attentive.

Thank you for welcoming us to your friendly ‘home from home’ pub for Sunday lunch. Everyone in our family group of 8 was well catered for. Our 3 year old grandson loved the ‘white stuff!’(turkey) Our whole experience felt very relaxed, thank you

The service was lacking, staff seemed disorganized, and the food was average at best, especially considering the high prices. We have had much better meals at other restaurants for a lower cost and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place to others. Ver carta

We stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation in the area and decided to have dinner there on Saturday night. We had pre-booked our meals and were impressed with the menu. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. Our meals were cooked fresh and James and Dianne, the hosts, were fantastic. They chatted with us and made sure we were satisfied throughout our meal.

Easter Sunday 2023 Carvery Table for 5 family gathering, the carvery is different to what we all were expecting as the proprietor explained that there were 3 roasted meats beef, pork, turkey then asked if we would like a slice of one or all three meats, a Yorkshire pudding and the vegetables all served through a hatch then help your self to heated container of gravy sauces which was placed on a table in the dining area. We have never been to a ‘carvery’ like that before. However, everything was cooked well but we all found the vegetables a little on the cool side. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery. Right from when we got into the bar, the staff were lovely and welcoming. Even when other people were being quite loud on the table next to us, they asked if they were being too noisy for us (they weren’t and we were fine, but it was nice of staff to be so considerate and ask us). I called and booked the day before and was told it was a ‘half carvery’ this Sunday,. This meant you have your meat, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings served for you and then you serve your own vegetables and gravy. Despite this, we were asked if we wanted more of anything as they served so it’s still as much food as you would like. The choices of meat today... Ver carta
