I am sad to say but fish n chips was the worst of my life ever. Frozen not fresh fish with soggy batter barely cooked. Chips were thin and very horrible.£16 what a rip off.. Multi award winning resort with a mediocre site restaurant that offers a very limited menu which hasn’t changed in a good while, other than removing items to make it even more limited. I can’t fault the service; friendly, quick, polite, that’s not the problem, the problem is the menu, which is unbelievably limited and boring, rarely changing through the seasons. They don’t do a Sunday roast anymore and you can no longer get a steak from the land section of the menu, just burger after burger. All a bit of a yawn on the food front. We dined at this charming restaurant on Monday evening with my wife, sister, brother-in-law, and father. The service was friendly and warm; both the male and female waitstaff were incredibly courteous and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was outstanding. We opted for the seafood menu and found everything to be perfect—absolutely delicious! My wife owns a Mauritian restaurant in Reading, and as a restaurateur, she wholeheartedly endorses this wonderful establishment. We definitely plan to return the next time we’re in Cornwall.
