However, my biggest complaint is that when they clean the tables, they use heavy chemicals that can be overpowering for those eating nearby. There are more subtle ways to clean without such strong odors."

I have been frequenting this cafe for over a year now. The food is consistently delicious and served hot. The staff is always friendly to me. The cappuccinos are exceptional.

Lovely place for breakfast and lunch. Thr broccoli and Stilton soup and bread was fantastic. SO MANY vegetarian options. Really good value and just a great spot in abergavenny for a fuss free meal. Would definitely come again

Took a group of 20+ cyclists there today for coffee and cake stop on our club’s anniversary ride. Arranged in advance, given a private room at no charge and great service. Have always found them nothing but helpful and accommodating. Ver carta

Tasteless food. We had the most watery soup. Coffee tasteless, hot chocolate was undrinkable. We ended up leaving everything. Told staff, they didn’t charge us but had poor customer service no apology, seemed quite annoyed at our complaint (eye rolling, no smiles). Reading other reviews it seems to be a common issue. Will not be returning.

We dropped into this popular coffee bar cum restaurant for a quick breakfast and were impressed by the prompt and friendly service and quality of the food. There is plenty of seating and the prices are reasonable. However it can become a bit noisy when there are children running around whilst their parents are glued to their smart phones – so take your ear plugs…
