Just ordered a roast and a pudding from the white heart and I can honestly say it was absolutely delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. The way the food was packed. Thank you so much! Outstanding- out of the way pub in a nice setting, friendly welcome and good busy atmosphere on a weekday lunchtime. Varied menu of pub classics more refined choices- confit duck , pork belly and alao steaks. Attentive table service and food arrived in good time and was memorable. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, mouth-watering food, and the owners are always friendly and welcoming! What more could you ask for? Thank you Catalin and Anca! We were extremely impressed with the warm hospitality and excellent service at this restaurant! We arrived without a reservation for a quick meal and were seated promptly. We were presented with both the Christmas and regular menus, and decided to try the Cod Cakes and Bangers Mash, which were both incredibly tasty. Our server recommended the Sticky Toffee Pudding as a must-try, and we can now see why - it was one of the best we've ever had. The atmosphere of the pub, a former cottage, was charming and cozy, with two wood fireplaces adding to the Christmas ambiance. We look forward to returning in the future! This place was amazing. As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere was warming and welcoming. The service was second to none. We sat down and ordered the food. I went for the ribs, not my normal 1st choice (a burger is always haha! But goodness me, they were delicious, the meat fell off the bones and then sides were delish, I really liked the feta cheese with lime n chilli. The others I was there with had fish n chips and the burger. Whilst we were waiting for the mains, we were presented with 3x ham hock n cheese crockets, WOW..... thank you!!
