Tonkotsu East - Carta

The ramens were very tasty, I especially enjoyed the homemade noodles, and super filling, we weren’t even able to finish everything.

This restaurant is a delightful local spot for Ramen, offering homemade noodles and gyoza at affordable prices. The menu has options to satisfy every palate, but their outstanding signature pork ramen is the standout dish.

Had a great meal with friends for my birthday here. Our waiter Ryckie really went out of his way to make it special for us. Food was delicious and great ambience. Really appreciated the top notch service which is rare to find these days! Thanks for a great evening : Ver carta

I made a reservation for 12 people easily. The restaurant had a nice outdoor area with shade where we were able to sit, which was great. The table set-up was perfect for our large group, and the staff assisted in pushing two tables together for us. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

I got Tonkatsu Ramen from this place on 1st August 2021. The broth smelled a little bit weird but I thought it was me being overly sensitive. 30 minutes later, I had to throw up. I’ve had diarrhea, nausea and stomach pain daily (even 13 days later) and suffered from dehydration. Unfortunately, I have to wait for my test results to come back until I can get antibiotics and have to continue suffering until next week...

I always put quality of food above quality of service and I am never disappointed when I visit Tonkotsu when on business in London. The ramen, with homemade noodles is just so fresh and tasty. But I have to mention the service too. I hope the owners know what they have with the dyed red haired girl because she is incredible; warm, friendly, efficient and lovely. Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant. The food was nice and we (a couple and a 4-year-old child) enjoyed our time here. The restaurant itself has a well-designed and cozy atmosphere. We tried the Shitaki gyoza, which was decent but not outstanding. The Tokyo ramen and Geki Kara ramen were both very delicious. We also ordered a children's dish for the kid, who only partially enjoyed it (not many kids like edamame). In conclusion, this is a great spot to visit on a rainy day.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants, the noodles were lovely and it was always busy but I was so disappointed on Sunday. Apart from the fact that I get annoyed by businesses who use Covid as an excuse the cut corners (no menus, make you order via an App, no condiments, etc) the food was bland and uninspiring. The beer was still really good but overall I could see why the place was pretty much empty. I hope they will up their game and get back to being how they used to be. NB: chilli oil needs to be provided again!!

My family and I went for dinner last night. As ever the food was great and hearty. What I want to mention is the customer service. Last night there was a small error with one of the meals. Totally nobodies fault however when we brought it to the restaurants attention, the quick response, and the measures to rectify this were exceptional. Good customer service and how you deal with an issue defines a restaurant. I can only give Tonkotsu 5 stars for how well they dealt with this. This restaurant has always been a firm favourite with my family and it really has now cemented how we feel about it. Well done and we will be back soon Ver carta
