"Das Restaurant Rosenegg bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen, von Suppen über Salate bis zu Burger oder gerollte, gefüllte Schnitzel. die Portionen sind generell recht gross sodass vermutlich jeder satt wird. Qualität der Speisen war beim Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs top. Leckerer Salat, knusprige Pommes und wunderbar herausgebackene Schnitzel. Wartezeiten waren absolut im Rahmen, Service war auch auf zack und sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder. (Leider keine Fotos vom Essen gemacht)"

"We have chicken burger with crispy fried potatoes (not French fries) and rice bowl with beans, red-wine chicken and salsa. We also tried chocolate lava with vanilla ice cream. Food was delicious. Waiters can speak English well. Location is good. Nothing to complain. It was remarkable because we saw staff accidentally dropped and broke whole tray of wine and liquor glasses. Parking: Small parking lot for only three or four cars but we were lucky to get a space as many guests walk there. You can also park at cable car and walk back for three minutes."

"Sehr gemütlich und teils urig. Essen ist sehr Gut, frisch und kommt vor allem heiss an den Tisch. Schön angerichtet und man wird mehr als nur satt. Die verschiedenen Fleischarten werden sehr lecker mariniert und sind perfekt gebraten. Die Wedges werden frisch und vor allem selbst hergestellt und kommen knusprig an den Tisch wie sie sein sollen. Soßen sind ebenfalls Top! Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass die drei Soßen beim 'Widos Satè-Mix ' ab und zu variieren. Finde das super und bietet immer Abwechslung :D Wer auf Currys und indian art Gerichte steht ist hier gut bedient : Vor allem die Satè-Spieße, Burger und Currys sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ausserdem gibt es Wochentags Mittagsmenüs bei denen man sogar vom Buffet verschiedene Salate und Vorspeisen entnehmen kann. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und auch für ein Späßchen zu haben : eben Hapiness : Preis/Leistung: Ich finde dass die Preise okay und nicht übertrieben sind. Schliesslich bekommt man für das Geld eine spitzen Mahlzeit. Wochentags würde ich eine Reservierung empfehlen. Freitag und Samstag Mittags müsste eigentlich meist ein Plätzchen frei sein. Super zu empfehlen!"

"After a whole day of visiting the city and walking, you want something to eat. Upon entering there is an atmosphere as if you are at a funeral. The staff is not too talkative and comes across as gruff and yet somewhat unfriendly. After we were seated at our table it took about 30 minutes for the hot food to be ready. This is of course possible if you are early. The first round immediately set the tone... At least the meat was done enough to say something positive about it today. Totally tasteless if you ask me! Very dry chicken, not even a hint of satay sauce anywhere. Also the beef or pork or whatever it was supposed to represent had very little flavor. For a meat lover this is really a serious insult to how it was prepared. So I left out the spare ribs, sushi, fish and anything that didn't look even remotely tasty. The only hope I had left was the teppayaki (grill from the meat). Well forget it! They had a “technical” problem that caused the grill not to work. The employee gave no further explanation and made no further effort and I think it was even annoying that I asked about it. This is a very bad thing because this was not indicated in advance! Fortunately, I have a fresh piece of meat from a real butcher in my refrigerator and saved almost all my appetite!"

"We were basically satisfied with our stay, but we didn 't use the wellness area a second time. Rooms: Clean room we had Alpinista Medium Plus and nice balcony. Some might say these are minor things, but for us it affected the impression of the room. What we found a pity was that there was no refrigerator because we also buy local groceries on our excursions, which we would then like to keep cool OK the hotel offered an alternative , no shoehorn and no water bottle with normal mountain water from the rooster. For a hotel that is otherwise so high class, that would not be an expense and would change the overall picture immediately. Safety: A drain channel cover was broken in the wellness area. That certainly didn 't happen shortly before our visit. As a result, you could very quickly injure your feet, since it is a barefoot area. : Walkability: Beautiful walks along the creek invite you to take a look. The hiking area is also really great. : Food drinks: The breakfast was always SUPER!!!! At dinner we noticed differences. In the first half of our stay before 7/31/2023 the food was better and there were two main courses to choose from. After that only one main course and it seemed to us that the quality of the food has deteriorated. There must have been a change of chef. Noteworthy details: There are two rusted ceiling lights in the steam room. As a result, a tile with a very large rust spot was already disfigured in the rear area. At first glance, it almost looks like a bloodstain. This appearance, plus the broken floor drain plate, have largely tempted us not to go to the wellness area a second time. There is an urgent need for action!!! :"
