Vapiano - Carta

Excited about the concept and the really nice interiors, I queued up for almost 30 mins only to get an almost taste free lunch experience. Never again.

The best thing here is that you totally adjust and customize your pasta according to your own taste. I like watching the chefs cook my pasta and adding my own comments. Reasonably priced and nice staff, too.

Pizza is delicious here and comes in big portions. Pasta is ok but nothing special. Gets a bit crowded in the evening so better to come early to find a table. Also a nice place for coffee and cake during daytime. Ver carta

We stopped here for a quick lunch, and I was a bit reserved about it as we have previously visited the Vapiano Vienna and I didn´t enjoy that too much. The Karlsruhe one was much better, nice atmosphere, very good quick Food and extremely reasonable prices

Food is cooked right in front of you and it tastes great! Perfect for going with friends, family or even on a date and isn't too expensive either. Sometimes the waiting times can be a bit on the long side depending on when you go so watch out for the student rush hour.

We went in and waited to make an order, the guy named AHMED were cooking refused to serve us and told me to go to his college for no reason. I refused to go to his college and wait for more time. When i talked to the manager he had no excuse for what happened and he didn't apologize or care for what happened. Ver carta

The Vapiano concept can be a bit hit and miss , but full marks to the friendly staff in Karlsruhe , super friendly , bilingual, reasonable prices, excellent location , beautiful building , nice in house cafe and deserts , spotlessly clean , Pizzas were excellent as were salads and deserts , if only every other restaurant in kalrsruhe was this good ...

This restaurant has a great concept! Upon entering each person gets a card which you then use to buy your food at different "stations" (salad, pasta, pizza, the bar etc..) at the end of your meal as you are walking out you scan your card and then pay. They serve some really nice pastas and salads, however the pizza leaves much to be desired. It is a chain resteraunt and I have been to the one in Berlin which was almost identical. The decor and the ambience is very nice (there's massive olive trees inside and tons of herb plants on the tables for you to help yourself to). All in all it serves very nice, and well priced Italian food.

I have visited this place three times with different friends - always because they said they loved it and I always, yes: ALWAYS regretted wasting my time there. First some unmotivated person at the reception desk slaps a card on the counter that you have to carry around to click up what you've ordered/eaten/drunk. Then you queue up and wait for an unmotivated 'chef' to whip up whatever you order. If you're in the pizza line then it's a wait and you get a buzzer which tells you when you have to get up from the table and go and get the food from the counter.First time I went the pasta dish was barely tepid by the time I got to my table.
