"I had dinner with my wife on our high-time day there at night. it was super delicious. the kitchen understands her craft.It started already at the salat - the dressing was a tight! I had a bark fillet with pfeffer sauce and small roasted. the filet, medium, outsen easy kross. it's on the bottom of the road. my wife also had bark fillet with wild boar. she was thrilled. the service very accommodating. the negative was unfortunately, a large dining room without compassion. it became more and more loud, as the hotel guests came to dinner and also talked. I had said at the reservierug extrag that we have our high-time day and we want a nice cozy table. Well, it tasted great for that."

"da salvatore is authentic Italian. they can see and taste that the crusts and pasta are handmade. it may seem strange to come to Germany and eat italian, but sometimes they need a break from currywurst. we also had a vegetariam in. our party so find delicious options for him was simply in da salvatore. we were in oberhof for Nordic ski training, so we want to prepare for the next training session with good fuel. da salvatore pizza and pasta was fresh, satisfying, but not heavy. all ingrediants were freshly prepared and the menu was huge. there was something for every taste and we liked it so much that we had eaten it twice and pasta was a good one like the pizza. the indebted and chef are Italian and it really shows in the authentic kitchen."

"well, who likes it, but... for eating, there is no recommendation from all of us. the thüringer hütte is located directly on the crest of the rennsteig on 814 m above sea level, on the border and in the immediate vicinity to the biathlon stadium aboveerhof (dkb ski arena,) with its bob and sleigh, etc. the out-air guesthouse in the style of a rustic blockhouse, is not exactly small and has 50 places in the main room. 100 seats on the terrace; according to the operator one of the most beautiful beer gardens in the region. according to own advertising, the operator wants to pamper his guests with the delicious thüringer kitchen. only the tasty thüringer specialties, we found at the beginning of our visit oktober, unfortunately not. we were on a ca. 14 km long hike from the “New Excitement” at tambach direction border eagle on the historic commute road, a small piece on the 169 km long rennnsteig, the most famous hiking trail in Germany and are recommended to a late lunch, returned to the gasthof thüringer hütte. we had chosen, ordered and also reserved seats, because we were on the way as a group. Unfortunately we were here, in the hospitable thüringer hütte we were really disappointed. since we were in thunder, we have, of course, ordered two thüringer specialties. I had ordered “Thüringer Rostbratsl” (was very greasy) with bratkartoffeln and salatbelage, for €7.50 and my wife had been on a so-called real “Thüringer Bratwurst” with bratkartoffeln and salatbeach for €7.00. the thüringer Rostbratsl” is a marinated disc from the vernacular, which is next to the thüringer rostbratwurst, the second grilled speciality of the country. the food was unfortunately only, an under average snack / canteen meal, it was not really warm (was probably kept warm over hours,) was overwürzted and simply did not taste us. as it is known that the eye with eats, the dishes were not presented appetizingly. both courts weren't expensive, but what we were here, as so-called speciality, was simply not worth his money. also the highlight in the flyer, the homemade torts, did not convince us (also visually not). we have particularly annoyed because we only left the thüringer hütte, directly next to a grill hut, where was grilled over a wood charcoal grill, a really real delicious thüringer bratwurst for 2.50. of course we could not resist and, in addition to our lunches, have given us a bratwurst. from the taste, this was not approximated with the bratwurst in the thüringer hütte. And this grill hut, is therefore quite clear our recommendation for the small hunger between and also for those who want to taste an original thüringer bratwurst from the charcoal grill. also it is not easy for us to understand why this tasty bratwurst from the wood charcoal grill is not also served in the gasthof, since the grill station belongs to the thüringer hütte and is only a few meters away. for us is the gasthof thüringer hütte, the only restaurant on the border eagle, clearly oriented to the mass operation and therefore only conditionally suitable for a good eating in a rustic comfortable atmosphere. this is also evident from the fact that there is only self-service at different theks. Therefore we can not recommend the gasthof thüringer hütte at all fairness. also not if you can eat here especially inexpensively to satisfy his hunger. but in order to silence its thirst, after e.g. a walk, it is o.k. and here an interesting and complementary note about the w. g. thüringer bratwurst: the rennsteig in the volksmund he is also referred to as a caraway equator, because north of the rennnsteig comes cuminously to the bratwurst and here on the sun. a small but finer difference, which one will taste when enjoying a real thüringer bratwurst! guaranteed!"

"Angenehme Überraschung, mein Besuch zum Abendessen im Luisensitz. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, ich durfte einen mir unbekannten Wein aus der Schweiz vorab probieren...den ich natürlich, weil er hervorragend war, anschließend bestellt habe. Die kleine Käseplatte war super, liebevoll angerichtetund die Preise auf der Speisekarte moderat gegenüber den Preisen einiger anderer Gaststätten. Frisch zubreitet, mit einem Lächeln serviert und ich weiß, wo ich beim nächsten Besuch in Oberhof einkehren werde, vielleicht klappt es auch mit der Übernachtung in der Pension. Vielen lieben Dank für den schönen Abend und macht bitte weiter so!"

"Wir waren für zwei Tage in Oberhof. An einem Abend spazierten wir spontan hierher. Vor ein paar Jahren haben wir hier auch mal gegessen und alles in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. Wir wurden auch dieses Mal freundlich begrüßt, hatten die freie Platzwahl. In der Veranda ist es wunderbar gemütlich. Man hat ausreichend Platz. Wir bestellten zwei große Schwarzbier, einmal Roulade mit Klößen und Orangenrotkohl sowie einmal Wildgulasch mit Klößen und Orangenrotkohl. Die Getränke wurden schnell serviert. Auf die Speisen mussten wir angemessen warten. Wir lieben Hausmannskost und hier wird eine solche serviert. Die Roulade war zart, gut gewürzt und sehr lecker. Der Wildgulasch war ebenfalls super gegart und sehr schmackhaft. Die Klöße waren nicht zu groß, locker und passten super zum Rest. Das Rotkraut schmeckten weniger nach Orange als gedacht, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Es war trotzdem sehr passend. Soße war auf beiden Tellern ausreichend vorhanden. Wir haben alles aufgefuttert. Das Restaurant füllte sich immer mehr. Dann gönnten wir uns noch je einen Kräuterschnaps aus Thüringen, der nicht zu süß, aber ebenfalls schmackhaft war. Auch bezüglich der Preise gab es nichts zu meckern. Die Toiletten waren sauber. Die ganze Zeit war der Service absolut in Ordnung. Wir sagen Danke."
