Amazing 6 course lunch tasting menu! Got to be some of the best food I have eaten! All the fish dishes cooked to perfection, the deserts...yum! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes served. Definitely would come and stay in Milford on Sea just to come to Verveine again!

wow, what a little jewel. this was a suggestion, we drove 2 hours to experience the tasting menu and I'm so glad we did. what an experience. service was impeccable and the food was fresh, tasty and clever. I can't say what my favourite dish was, they all had a twist of one kind and everyone was a crowded one. we will definitely come back! Ver carta

We booked lunch after reading a review on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The food was well presented and some of the aperitifs played with your perception, as they were not what your eyes told you they were. Very theatrical! The other fish dishes were excellent as well. Service was amazing considering the limited size of the kitchen. They were so well organised. What a pleasure!

very warm welcome by employees and cook in the venue. the care and presentation of the food was fantastic. the decoration and the ambiente were perfect. my wife and I came here without a booking, but the staff was courteous. the best lunch we ever had when we chose the 3-course lunch menu. my wife ordered a **** that was refreshing and light. we look forward to the return. we have enjoyed the food and experience so much, I only remember a picture of our dessert.

First time I have ever been and I would highly recommend to any sea food lover. The food is fresh, you don't know what your going to get till it is served and the waitress or waiter tells you. They leave you to enjoy your food and don't keep asking if you need more drinks. They only have a few tables which allows the chef to be able to cook to a much higher standard, which you taste in the outstanding dishes he prepare for you. We are already planing our next visit. incredible! we have booked the day before, I think we were incredibly happy to book a small restaurant in any case! Eat was absolutely excellent while we had a mango shot with a twist, followed by a basil and comté cheese waffel with crispy wobble as free amuse bouche. both had the smoked salmon that there was plenty and it was just delicious! seabass and Norwegian cod for both excellent garnishing. difficult to mistake any part of the experience, we will definitely return!

Verveine is a top class establishment. Myself and girlfriend visited on weekend and were blown away. Love the fishmongers in the front with restaurant in the back, feels casual and understated. The 3 course tasting menu was reasonably priced with absolutely incredible food, refined and delicious. Very unique dishes and combinations with extensive wine list to go with it. Staff and chefs were very welcoming and friendly with perfect service. Will be top of the list when I come back to New Forest.

we found booked for a Tuesday night. the menu is a taste amplifier of 4, 6 or 8 curses. the 6 cursor was exceptional and everyone was unknown at the beginning. the coworkers explained every cure arrived at him, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. a relaxed environment with a lot of time between every delightful cure. a wee pairing is offered, although we decided to wee through the glass. every cursor was a taste experience on itself. the small things like the beautiful plates and the presentation of the cutlery added to the quality of the setting. the overall experience was exceptional. david wykes and his team offer the best food we ever had in a fish restaurant. definitiw a five-...
