Villa Dino - Carta

We had a beautiful meal on Saturday night, great service from all the staff. Very well social distancing, with tables speed out well.will be returning.

We visited tonight with our two children, it was really well organised snd all social distance measures etc in place. There was a really lovely atmosphere in the restaurant that was only outdone by the beautiful food. The tiramisu was the nicest I’ve ever had. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

This was my first time returning to this restaurant since lockdown, and I was impressed to see that it had been completely refurbished during that time. The new look is stunning, beautifully and tastefully done. The food and service were excellent as always, and we had a lovely evening. All safety procedures were strictly followed, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of. It was great to be back. Ver carta

Amazing! I used to frequent this restaurant often, but haven't been in years. I regret spending my time elsewhere now! It's a wonderful family-friendly establishment with a welcoming atmosphere. The food looked incredible and tasted even better. It's been family-owned for over 40 years, but it's currently up for sale due to retirement. Don't miss out on this gem before it's gone. Enjoy the best while you still can. Amazing.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Customer service good, but not wow. Told to sit near the bar whilst we ordered drinks and our food, before being taken to our table. Not sure why as it was pretty quiet. Garlic mushrooms to start was lovely. Would have been better if it was served with toasted bruschetta. Ordered garlic bread with mozzarella as a side which was divine. Main course was pretty bland. Desert ok. Would I go back again? Probably not.

Booked the place for a birthday dinner for 7.30. Since it was a two hour slo, we had to be out by 9.30. Unfortunately, we had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated, despite arriving on time. They were missing: my first choice of wine; my first choice of main; my first choice of dessert. I reckon that if you don’t have something, you need to tell customers right away, and not five minutes after they’ve ordered, which is what happened to us. I’m quite happy with the food itself, and the atmosphere was nice, perfectly compliant with regulations. But there are places with better service. Ver carta

Having booked a table for New Years Eve, what a disappointment. One starter was Garlic Mushrooms, this was what you would expect on a greasy spoons breakfast, boiled with a hint of nothing. One main was a medium rare steak that was so well cooked, it was cremated. Two excuses, one being the chef got two tickets mixed up and we got the wrong one and the second being, it was pink when left the kitchen, and the waitress even referred to it being so as she gave some to her dog !!! Really ruined our evening, and this this climate, surely such a restaurant with the prices it charges should try harder. Would never ever go back or recommend

Visited last night as a party of 4 and had such a great time. Lovely to sit on comfy sofas while enjoying a drink and perusing the menu. Then shown to our table when the starters were ready, so we could enjoy some fantastic food. 3 of our party had mussels to begin and all thoroughly enjoyed. 2 of our party then had fillet steaks and the others had chicken all in different sauces and everything was cooked to perfection. We also all loved the veg accompaniments and the sautéed potatoes. The dessert options sounded lovely too but we were too full to try them hopefully next time! Just couldn’t fault the food, drinks or service it was all brilliant. Haven’t visited Villa Dino for a long time but...

This was our first evening out since the first lockdown and we chose the perfect place to eat. We have dined at Villa Dino many times over the years and the food and atmosphere have always been excellent. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions, Dino and Tracy have managed to maintain a brilliant dining experience. The food and atmosphere are just as fantastic as before the pandemic. All necessary COVID-19 measures were in place, with tables spaced two meters apart, hand sanitizer provided upon entry, and staff wearing masks throughout the evening.
