Village Grill – Village Hotel Aberdeen

The food was absolutely amazing. Boyfriend said his steak was the best he’s every had and my spinach and sweet potato curry was delicious!

Service is very poor. Knowledge of menu is very poor. Never got offered menu for deserts or drinks. Couldnt find anyone to get the bill so had to stand and wait at till. Nothing special, just an average tea.

The hotel was lovely, with a clean room and friendly staff. The food was excellent and it was great to have access to the pool. I would definitely go back, even though it was a bit farther than I expected. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience.

The first time to visit here and it is a good hotel with good facilities, the pub and barbecue was nice as the breakfast, the pool sauna and steam bath where super, my only grip was the location, it is just too far away from the city center, but it will not stop me visiting again and I would certainly recommend you to visit it.

We had a great time during our stay in the village of Aberdeen. The room was very clean, simple but nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing night away. The swimming facilities were also clean and well looked after. The food was decent with a good selection at breakfast. We would definitely consider visiting again in the future.

The two girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. The room was spacious and clean, although there were some minor cosmetic issues. The staff at the bar and restaurant, both in the evening and during breakfast, were also very welcoming. However, the only negative aspect was when the fire alarm went off at 11:00 at night and most guests were outside, there was no hotel staff present to provide information or guidance. This lack of communication during an evacuation could potentially lead to bigger problems, so it's important for hotels to ensure they have proper procedures in place.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was comfortable and clean with an excellent bathroom. The hotel, although a short distance from the city center has a regular bus service that had us in Union street in a few minutes. An evening meal at the hotel was a good pub-grub both delicious and well presented. Breakfast was compact, delicious and hot. I loved the little teapots you can fill yourself, give 2 good cups. The staff was always friendly and helpful. A member of the bar staff helped us find the mess we had done to order food online. There are not enough staff for the pub and grill. The service is extremely slow. We waited 50 minutes on our mains arriving and both were wrong. They took them away to fix and again were wrong. My partner ordered a chicken stacker which said came with 2 chicken breasts however it only came with one. We then waited 10 minutes for this to be fixed. I ordered the village stacker burger, I looked inside the burger thinking it was different to what I had read on the menu. Immediately the waitress came and said they had given me the wrong burger and would bring back the right one. They did bring back another burger however again it was wrong. DisgustEd and utter disappointment in the way my party of four were treated . I had booked a table for 4 people at midday as a treat for my parents before going to Strickly come dancing today. when we arrived there was a board closing of the restaurant and so we went into the bar where we approached and told the restaurant was going to be full with an oil company function and waved away to find ourselves a table in the bar. My parents are elderly and can not manage up to the high tables so we eventually found a round table for the four of us to sit. The table and chairs were dirty and covered with food.
