Village Grill – Village Hotel Aberdeen

Situated in the surreal charming old fishing village, the atmosphere and views are lovely.

Wonderful place to take in some of the seaside sights in Aberdeen, and enjoy excellent gourmet seafood.

Good quality for the price, good size room clean and sanitised. Bit limited for beer drinkers. Staff very helpful. Modern hotel. Ver carta

The food was absolutely amazing. Boyfriend said his steak was the best he’s every had and my spinach and sweet potato curry was delicious!

Coffee facilities not renewed. Could not get a time for a swim all weekend as club members have priority. Poor choice at breakfast. Asked for a fried egg and was refused

Service is very poor. Knowledge of menu is very poor. Never got offered menu for deserts or drinks. Couldnt find anyone to get the bill so had to stand and wait at till. Nothing special, just an average tea. Ver carta

I stay in villages night a month and this is the best I’ve stayed in. Staff very friendly. Breakfast staff very attentive and helpful. I was here for days and even the housekeepers with clean towels where fabulous. I had just travelled from Kent such a long journey and they were helpful with check in much appreciated It’s not in town at all. But would stay here again for sure. The gym is pretty decent too. Lovely hotel, with good facilities. Very clean, and modern decor. Easy to drive to and from Aberdeen city centre. Late checkout was somewhat interrupted by loud music and shouting which I assume was emanating from the gym. Service in restaurant was a bit patchy at dinner, and breakfast was a bit limited for vegetarians. The chef offered to cook some veggie sausages but I didnt want to wait. Please consider cooking something like potato scones or hash browns etc? Despite the minor niggles, we would definitely consider returning and will recommend to others.

I visited the The Village Hotel in Aberdeen. I have never been to Scotland before and wanted to make the stay special as it was booked to celebrate my partner's birthday. I spoke to Matt Ross many times before arrival and he was very helpful and also helped me to upgrade the room which we really made a difference. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy complete with a sky package in the room. Matt also helped us throughout our stay and honestly made such a positive impact to our holiday. The pool area was very relaxing and the hotel itself was clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.
