"We had dinner in Peel 's as part of the hotel 's 'midweek staycation ' package, and decided to treat ourselves to the wine flight to accompany it. Service was attentive yet laid back throughout, in keeping with the decor and ambience. Fresh seasonal produce takes pride of place on this menu reflecting the sustainable ethos at the heart of the restaurant and hotel. Each course was well balanced and perfectly executed, with the pace of the menu just perfect, leaving you wanting more right up until dessert. Carrot and beetroot dishes were earthy and exciting, and truly celebrated the produce at the heart of them. The beef brisket dish was a stand out course for me, rich, deep and full of flavour yet balanced with the mushrooms. We felt that the wine flight offered a good balance of familiar and more adventurous/challenging wines. (We each gave 5/6 of the wines a thumbs up not the same 5 though.... a solid reminder that personal preference is subjective! The sommelier gave us a good amount of information and the chance to ask questions without being overbearing. The whole experience including the food, wine, service and atmosphere was right up our street we hope to be back before too long. NB I note some previous comments re drinks options in the bar we found that when we asked there was a greater selection than appears on the bar menu and staff were all to happy to discuss the options with us."

"Had a lovely two course meal with my friend here. Great atmosphere and a nice level of noise for a week day evening meal. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The food was fantastic and with a great menu it was very difficult to make a decision. Deffinately good value for money and Ive recommended this place to pretty much everyone Ive seen since."

"A great family run Italian restaurant It was a last minute booking for a Friday evening sand it was way to get a a table for us. The place had live music during the night. The portions are good as the taste. loved the pizza and pasta. Bread comes complimentary, so you can plan your dishes accordingly. I will visit again. Vegetarian options: Got a lot of vegetarian options Parking: You can near the supermarket Wheelchair accessibility: It’s accessible."

"we drove a fair distance, as the menu looked great! Eating was a little slow to arrive, but that's okay since they only just started eating lunch. my veggie roast was ok (not great) and my nabenbie enjoyed be steak, although a small part. the team was friendly and helpful when they got their attention. the cost for my 11 year old sons meal was the greatest shocker. he wanted the veggieburger £15.50 on the menu. he wanted it without a side salad, pickle, relish, cheese and so on. Instead, we asked if all the beats could be thrown for a piece of halloumi that they like to do. when the bill came, they had calculated £15.50 for the burger (as expected), but an additional £5 for the disc of halloumi! I asked the bill thinking that it was a mistake, but was said it wasn't a mistake, and halloumi is in world-wide lack and expensive. I am not the way to argue with a waiter and only paid the bill that expresses it was incredibly expensive. overall I think £20.50 for a veggie burger and a piece helloumi is probably the most expensive meal I have ever paid! it really could not justify returning to these trips."
