Whiski Rooms Bar & Bistro

Very good sandwiches, along with a nice Whisky flight. The smoked salmon sandwich was tasty and full of salmon. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic food and drink. The atmosphere is great and I will definitely be returning to Edinburgh to try the whisky tasting again.

Small restaurant a short walk from the Royal Mile with a very friendly staff, good food, and a great whisky selection. Everything was almost universally great, though I'd say skip the burger and get the steak, instead. We went back a couple of times because it was just so good. Ver carta

We had an early dinner after a whiskey tasting. The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We arrived at 5pm and had the place to ourselves until crowds started arriving around 7pm. The food was delicious, with the venison being a standout dish.

We are thrilled that we decided to dine at this restaurant for the evening. The food was outstanding and they had an excellent selection of whiskies. The charming ambiance and delightful atmosphere really added to the overall experience. The service was top-notch from start to finish. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Went for a whisky flight experience. Based on the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter (we think his name was Smid too much alcohol), we had two amazing flights. When we told him which one was our favorite, he brought us another shot of atotally different whiskey that he thought we would like more and he was right (and we bought a bottle). Ver carta

When our meals came 4 persons), 3 meals were cold and had to be sent back. Prices were very expensive for basic meals. Drinks prices ridiculous. There was an overpowering smell of fish. Bill was reduced when we mentioned our meals were cold. We should not needed to ask to have bill reduced, restaurant manager should have made a gesture due to being served cold food. We will NOT be returning!

This was a great find on our trip to Edinburgh and we will definitely be back. We wanted fresh, high quality Scottish food and that was what we got. The Cullen Skink was delicious, as was the steak pie which was full of great quality chunks of steak. We also had the charcuterie selection and Whiski burger which was excellent and great quality. All served is a lovely ambience. We will be back on our next visit!

I loved having dinner at Whiski Rooms in Edinburgh! The lamb was incredibly tender, my partner had haggis which was full of flavor, and the creme brûlée was delicious. The service was top-notch; our server was polite, attentive, and friendly. It was pouring with rain when we went, so the cosy atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience. We actually left smiling because it was such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Whiski Rooms to anyone looking for great food and a warm ambiance in Edinburgh! Ver carta
