Friendly staff, attentive service. Delicious food with a varied and interesting menu. Will visit again!

Good honest pub grub, can't say too much more as my visit was a late Tuesday lunch and as such we were the only customers, but pleasant service and a quaint old pub.

I was looking forward to a traditional Sunday roast, but it seemed like everything was from the freezer. It's a shame because the pub itself was charming and very COVID-safe. Overall, the food was quite disappointing.

This pub can only be described with one word: outstanding. The menu and service are exceptional. They offer an incredible selection of wonderfully inventive dishes. Without a doubt, it's the standout dining experience within a 30-mile radius. I highly recommend this place!

Overpriced. Food was tasty but £17 for a noodle dish with just 6 king prawns is a bit steep. Dessert was a mixed experience, two churros for a whole pot of lemon posset is not well matched and the churros were solid. A limited selection of drinks with no real ale on tap. Our evening was disturbed by a screaming toddler at the next table. This place is trying to be different yet giving in to the usual demands and therefore failing to be anything but an overpriced pub. I wasn't impressed when I last visited, as the building was empty and in need of significant renovations. However, I had a fantastic weekend celebrating a 60th birthday here. The disco was a lot of fun, and the buffet on Saturday was excellent, followed by a wonderful Sunday afternoon brunch for just 11 the next day. The menus provide a great variety of options for everyone, and I've heard great things about their takeaway service from the locals who use it regularly. The staff were lovely—friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to visiting again in the future.

We celebrated our anniversary at The White Horse in Kenninghall because its menu offered more variety than the usual pub fare at other places. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the owner made us feel very welcome. We started with dishes of whitebait accompanied by a tangy red pepper dip and Mongolian lamb in salad wraps, both of which were delicious and fresh. For the main course, I highly recommend the steak salad with blue cheese and walnuts—it was fantastic! We finished with a mocha ice cream cake, which was absolutely delightful.
