The Nags Head - Carta

Me, my partner and daughter came for a roast dinner. Best roast dinner we’ve had at a restaurant, everything was really well cooked and couldn’t fault the service at all.

Beautiful food and brilliant staff my daughter had the children's burger chips and peas she said it was really tasty she ate everything on her plate the food was delicious.

This is a great place to stay. The room was nice and despite the room being above the pub didn't hear any noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meal was delicious as was breakfast. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to others. Ver carta

Fantastic service and food was incredible, wife had the Sea Bream she said it was cooked beautifully and well presented also , I had a pork belly dish which honestly I could have eaten again after finishing! it was stunning, the chef/chefs here really know how to cook will be back .

After a long drive we just needed a nice place to eat, well the nags head hit the button. Lovely friendly staff, we both had flat iron steak, cooked just as we like it and great chips the accompanying sauces, mine, pepper corn, my wife’s the blue cheese were really tasty . So thank you nags head from two weary traveler's for a lovely meal .

Brilliant! We visited as a family of 4 on a sunny Sunday, we hadn’t booked but luckily arrived early enough to get a table. Great selection of drinks. The food was delicious I had the pie, my husband the burger and two children’s meals. Lovely outside patio area. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Restrooms were clean. Would recommend and we will be back again!!! Ver carta

We were staying in a forest holidays cabin and needed somewhere to have dinner. We were driving for ages, with lots of places not serving food, or not being of a good standard before we came across this place. The food was so good and the staff were extremely friendly and so good with our children. We ended up coming back the following day for a roast dinner too! Big portion sizes and chocolate brownie to die for!

Can’t fault our stay at the Nags Head, every member of staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. Breakfast outstanding, cooked to order and outstanding quality, husband had cooked and I had continental and both were fabulous. Rooms really clean and had everything you needed, plenty of tea coffee milk biscuits etc. Had lunch day we arrived and again was very tasty and well presented. Thankyou for a lovely stay, would definitely visit again if in the area

I have written a couple of good reviews about our LOCAL pub/restaurant ALL good. At a visit this week I reluctantly have to comment that the Steak pie was good, as always, but, apart from the few at the top of the container, the chips were soggy and became soggier as they went down. Sadly, they had to be left. They were on the menu as Triple cooked but tasted like they had barely been cooked once. We eat here quite regularly now and this is the first time we have been disappointed. We know how you like us to be honest with you. We spoke to the helpful waitress about this issue who we know will report back as well. Thanks again we 'll try again Ver carta
