"the "Wilhelms" is the restaurant in the "Hotel Waldhaus" (Raphael Group) in the heart of the "new wilhelmsburger mitte". wilhelmsburg is the largest part of the city in Hamburg, with few parking spaces available for drivers in public space. the hotel offers its guests a paid parking garage and parking (maximum price 5 euro) (1*).The restaurant is a bit rustic. at least as far as the cover and wall structures are concerned. looks a little unfinished. the spatial areas are very large and high (4).* This is a bit echowise (4).* the seating is made of wood, yet you can sit comfortably. the wooden tables are set up in different sizes. it have approx. 100 guests platz (3).* the entire ambiente level I set in with 4*.The service was somewhat overwhelmed at our evening and this, although not all the tables were occupied. they were polite and nice, but somewhat slow (3*).The restaurant offers beer in the drink area (up to 3.80 euro for 0.3 l), soft drinks and hot drinks also champagne and weine in the glass (5.20 euro). the selection is sufficient. the prices are not exactly cheap (3*).The menu consists of a daily ticket (five offers) and a normal card (25 offers) with trips from 4.50 euro to 18.90 euro (4*).I had the hamburger pannfisch. this is served with three pieces of fish and brat potatoes and a mustard vinaigrette (see photo). the “exterior” optics in the panfish is necessary to get used, because normally everything comes in a hot pan at the table. The food came only after more than 23 minutes (2*).The fish and the bratkartoffels were very delicious. the vinaigrette was fantastic. the waiting time has paid off. all tasted very fresh (4*).The drinks were all tasty (4*).My value for money is 3.5*Total rating at 3.53*The wilhelms is therefore good for another visit."

A cool atmosphere like a studio. The menu includes steaks,ブs, seafood, burgers and salads. The grilled chicken of Rosemary was crispy outside, but it was hot and juicy inside.

the location is not intoxicating - if you could have solved differently in this building - the menu does not allow any planned direction to be recognized, much was "out" . if I have only a few dishes on the map, this is already strange! very positiw is the friendly staff that will make the stay nice!

despite great ambiete, the wild helmets still leaves to be desired (as before 3 years). we had only one cappuccino. I ordered a glass of water. it came a half-finished glass lukewarm water that my friend and not even me was put on. considering that the glass water is automatically included in italian, metal-cutting, Greek or American, a negligence unfortunately only affects badly around the otherwise beautiful local.

eating in the wilhelms was weak, expensive and unloved. the total offer was very very one-sided (2 different tables, a single sort of eis), the service was a catastrophe, no drink came as ordered, the glasses were dirty, the time between ordering and - faulty! delivery was approx. 30 minutes, etc. etc. a single disaster!!!! As a group of 15 people we had ordered a 3 go menu for 35€ and received: a small salat (after ticket 4.5€), noodles with brush-coated (maximum value 7 €) and one! ball lemon ice cream (after card 4 or 5 €)! so don't go! go to another restaurant! Ver carta

"wilhelms im wälderhaus" means the breakfast, lunch and evening restaurant in the ground floor of the wood house, which is not only a place of influence for the hotel guests of the ***s-RAPHAEL hotel, also located in the wood house. The restaurant stands like all other farms in the wood house for social, ecological and economic sustainability. the motto promises seasonally tuned meals and drinks: "fresh regional cuisine in rhythm of nature".On about 60 welcomingly covered small wooden tables (substance napkins and fresh flowers on the table)! You can enjoy the view of the wilhelmsburger park in the evening and enjoy friendly and fixed female services. 380 restaurant in the drink area besides...

(for German, please scroll down. we had a light dinner that was not only mostly organic in original, but so very tasty. the beetroot and goat cheese salad was well seasoned (not too spicy, but flavourful) and a great combination of textures, flavours and temperatures....The blue cheese tortelloni were so very flavourful, and a realistic portion that left you satisfied without being stuffed. the breakfast buffet is plentiful and well stocked with a variety of fruits, vegetables, cheeses and cold-cuts, as well as a selection of hot dishes, juices ... and excellent coffee! (i.e. espresso. we had enjoyed a light dinner that was the most delicious part of organic, and also very tasty. the red bee...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
