"General: My constant companion wanted to go where wine is grown. As I would get bored in wine villages, I chose the quirky coblenz for the wine trip and we were not disappointed. Four times we have come into tradition and once landed with the Greeks. Here is my report on our last station, the Winninger Weinstuben, which has existed since 1979. On the homepage [here link] you will find many photos of the terrace and the two interiors and the menu; the wine card is unfortunately not uploaded and under the heading “Our wineries” you only find the winery Kröber, which may be due to the fact that the wine bars are operated by the Wilfried Kröber family, which suggests a relationship. In particular, the non-visible wine card is a real failure, yet it shows in the restaurant open wines: 8 x dry Riesling, 9 x fine-hearted and sweet Rieslings, 6 x other German whites and 8 x red wines. The price range is from 4.50 to 9.50 € for 0.2 l. On the visited summer evening the spacious terrace was fully occupied and in the guest room Rhein few Mitesser arrived, older Koblenzer after our impression. We were happy and can recommend the Winninger Weinstuben. The price-performance ratio is four and a half stars. Service: In service two older men and a young man. We were cared for by Mr Hofmann according to Bon and he made it easy and easy. I liked to follow his wine recommendation and was not disappointed: Winninger Uhlen S 2022 from the winery Kröber for 7.20 €/0.2 l. As wine vocabulary is strange to me, I simply do it: very culinary gifts and really good so that I reordered another glass. Previously a winemaker brut for 8,20 €/0.2 l from the Palatinate. As usual, my companion chose a rosé for 5,50 €/0.2 l. And as in the other two wine instances visited, the white wine was served really cold, which is not the local gastronomy in Bremen according to my experience. It is probably too bad to set the temperature low enough or to maintain cheap cooling that does not come below 10 degrees. In addition to the good drink supply, Mr Hofmann also brought the start and main foods at comma intervals, for the main dish he asked if it could continue. This is also why four stars like him. Beers are available in the wine bars only from the bottle of 3,00 €/0,33 l Koblenzer , for specialists from the region 5,50 € for 0.75 l are due. Eating: The map is manageable and besides flame cake, which is very common in Koblenz, it goes down to how to show a look into the map. In addition, a few current offers in the lookout. Unfortunately, the offer of appetizers is poor, so for example no soups are offered. We chose the Rieslingkäs for €10.90. He hid on the large plate under onion rings and salt rods. In the bite, the semi-solid cheese reminded me of Hiumi, but without squeaking. That he was marinated in Riesling, you could taste well. A refreshing start, contrasted with warm, dark bread with crispy crust. Then it went to the point. I chose the Koblenzer Saumagen with Speckkartoffelsalat €13.90 and compared to the potato salad there was a meat sausage from a carpenter of the city who still slaughters himself, according to Mr Hofmann. My Saumagen with two slices well portioned and strongly seasoned. We would have liked the potato salad a bit more acid, but nevertheless good edible. The meat is hot, thick and silly. To heat them is not a cooking performance in the narrower sense, but such a simple dish lives on the quality of the sausage, which here with good Saarland Lyoner or Bremer cooked so we could call our sausage. Our expectations were fully met and like four stars. Ambience: The Winninger Weinstubens are located near the Deutsche Eck on the Rhine promenade in a historic building from the 1st half of the 19th century. Interior and terrace were renewed in 2014 by the current host family. We sat in the Gastraum Rhein with the modern tresen. At the tables, the plates of which are made of barrels, you can spread generously and there are also wide running paths between the tables on the dark red tile floor. Through the white walls and the high white ceilings the room is very bright. So we must not expect ancient wine cellars. From the speakers discreet oldies, perhaps even old K-Tel`s Greatest Hits discs were found and reactivated during renovation. Cleanliness: Everything clean; Toilets inconspicuous."

very good meal break in this establishment. Home, sympathetic despite the lack of competition due to a sporting competition this day. Typical, well-cooked and flame-specialty excellent. Nice wine menu, very well advised. Moderate addition, so, a good evening.

the weinstube is very ideal next to the cable car. from outside you have a very nice look at the Rhine. a bit further is also the German corner. eating in the weinstube is very good. portions are exactly fit in the size. not too little and also not overloaded. the service is very friendly. the food, I had winzersteack is very good and the wee very tasty. we'll be back.

we have walked along the rhein promenade and as the only local we have addressed this immediately. we got a table outside and were very happy about it. then the good wee! we enjoyed our first glass together with the beautiful view of the Rhine. we had ordered riesling häxle with knödel. a tight! the good one is that you can have almost any food as 1/2 portion. we were thrilled. also the service was friendly and attentive. highly recommended overall. I went to this place with a colleague. We were promptly seated by a friendly and efficient waiter. The food was good. (try their local take on a pizza for example) and the beer and wine very good also. Crowd was largely older folk with a fair smattering of locals. Looks out over the Rhine. Only issue was that they only take cash. That's frankly, a bit greedy and arrogant and shows this is a tourist town. If you don't like that sort of thing try elsewhere or come with cash.

We had dinner with 6 people in the Winninger Weinstube on the December 1st weekend. Luckily we had reserved in time as this restaurant is extremely popular and numerous guests had to be turned away in a friendly manner during our stay. The service staff was very attentive and knew how to impress with the wine advice. We had to wait a reasonable amount of time for the freshly prepared food. The food was really tasty, of very good quality and offered in good portions. We felt we were in good hands at the Winninger Weinstube and will definitely come back on our next visit to Koblenz. Thanks to the entire Weinstube team for a successful evening.
